What is this narration???

The narrator’s voice and intonation were abysmal, really pulled me out of the stories. Stories themselves were mediocre, lots of repeated phrases, situations, etc.

“I could feel it in my bones”

“Do you dare, etc.”

There were some cool concepts but overall the writing felt pretentious and unpolished.

Well executed Gothic horror.

I had read a couple of J.M.Nelson's stories online prior to this audio book collection.

The stories are gripping, well written, and build a sense of dread. To hear them together with the various links between the tales really adds to the fear factor. J.M.Nelson has a gift for drawing you quickly into his world.

The narration is great, Schumacher's voice and delivery really compliments the story well.

Great listen.
