So Worth The Wait

Great narration & wonderful story. Although The Shadowlands tales are "stand alone", they are much better if they are read in order. This one more than most as it updates the lives of 2 other couples from earlier books. When Cherise said Ben the "vanilla" guard at Shadowlands and the sadist, Mistress Anne, "told her" they belonged together we couldn't imagine how. She's created an a awesome tale of exciting erotic romance and suspense that brings these two disparate characters together. I loved every listening to every minute.

Love Noah and Erin, they work so well together!
The extra quotes at the beginning of each chapter that are not in the book are a wonderful surprise.
Cherise's writing is awesome as usual!
My only complaint is that the chapter numbers stated in the audiobook do not match the the chapter numbers in the book.
On the hole this audiobook and book is well worth your time!

Better then I thought it would be.

I was worried since I always read/listen to books where the Hero is the master and I really worried if this would do it for me. Well it did and it was great. Now I have to wait patiently for the next one to come out on audio. -Dink.

Loved what I could listen to...

Recording was messed up, I couldn't listen to about 5 chapters. :9 Bummer because I loved the story!

I Love The Shadowlands Series, BUT...

...this title, "Servicing the Target," features a female Domme and male submissive/slave, which is just not for me. The writing and narration is, like all other books in this series, nothing short of wonderful; however, I can't seem to enjoy the F/m dynamic . I look forward to Audible's recording and release of the remaining books in this series.

Found this a little lacking

I'm glad Mistress Ann got her story. I'm also glad that we got to know Ben. The overall plot was ok but, it didn't reach my emotions like the previous novels, in the series. The relationship followed the usual pattern; Introduction, one way facination, Shadowlands' form of courting, Misunderstanding, angst then the HEA. It's an okay addition to the Shadowlands series but, it is far from horrible. It was worth a credit, to me, anyway.

One of my favorite books by Ms. Sinclair :). The narrators did a great job bringing to life two of my favorite characters

Amazing as Always!

Loved every minute! Anna definitely needed her story told! Sinclair can always tell a great story when it comes to the shadowlands!

Children, ugh.

If you find the idea of having children unpleasant.. this is not the book for you. I had to skip so much of the book that it just isn’t worth it. Skip this one.

Excellent femdom but so much more

It’s been a while ago since I’ve read this story the first time and I’m glad I decided to buy the audiobook.
This is a great story with amazing main characters.

Another excellent book

I have really enjoyed revisiting the Masters of the Shadowlands in Audible. The stories are interesting and well told. The readers bring the characters to life. I particularly like the two readers, it gives a much more authentic feel to have a man and a woman share the presentation. The two chosen are ideal for the job.

Wow!!

I have loved Anne and Bens characters from the very beginning..... that first peek at Ben when Jessica sought shelter during a storm. If you don't understand then start at the beginning. You will not be disappointed, especially if you like bdsm, men who are men and women who are strong yet still feminine. It's a great series. I love that Ben found his girl, one who makes it right for him to let go without making him feel less than he is, a man who likes his lady to take control. Another cracker. Thank you.

Narration disappointing

Having a female who's only contribution is to moan on queue and speak the odd sentence didn't work for me. If there are two narrators they should choose their roles or chapters and stick to them.

Awesome

Brilliant story brought to vivid life by the narrators. A nice change to have a male submissive and as usual Cherise makes you care about these people on their relationship journey. Please keep writing and recording!
