Publisher's Summary

One slave is all it takes to turn the tide.

Rhodopis has lived most of her life as a slave to the god of chaos, knowing there wasn't a way her life could have been better. But a visiting god and his priests changes all that, and she learns that there's more to life than servitude.

Can she follow her heart, or is she destined to be a slave forever?

Servant of Chaos is a stand-alone in the Forgotten Gods Universe and is loosely based on the legend of Rhodopis and other Egyptian mythology.

Great narrator for a lovely story

This is probably my favorite book so far in this world. the narrator did a wonderful job bringing to life these characters and it was fascinating to see into the God of Chaos domain after the other two books were set on the other side of the coming year.

A fun story!

The narrator did a good job. The romance is slow to build but there and the storyline is progressive. It ended quicker than I thought so it’s an easy fun read to listen to while working!

Enjoyable Egyptian Mythology Tale

This is an interesting tale and brought many questions to mind. I preferred the previous two books I have read over this one, perhaps because Rhodopis is such a defeated servant and has no ambition or desire to figure out who she really is.

Narration was well done and brought this short tale to life.

I listened to this audiobook at one sitting but was a bit disappointed with how things wrapped up. I felt like something was missing and the tale was abruptly cut short with no satisfactory conclusion. I did enjoyed listening to it just wish it could have kept going a bit longer to tie up some loose ends.

Not sure how to feel-not sure if that’s a bad or good thing

I’m so confused by this series. It’s so fast paced but the actual plot of the story is taking forever. I don’t know man...I don’t know if I want to continue.

The first one was meh
The second was good
And this one was meh

Ughhhh it’s frustrating.

Slave of Chaos

Rhodopis has only ever known the life of a slave to the god of Chaos, Seth. She has learned early on not to draw attention to herself & go through one day at a time. That is until they host the god Ra & his company. That is when she meets & falls in love with Abu. Rhodopis then starts to believe that there can be more out of her life.

okayish

narration is good. story is very slow , i dont like why mc had too say that she is a slave everytime and set is god of chaos.
also she had too little faith on herself than she had for abu.

Another one!!! <3

Another phenomenal audiobook by Laura Greenwood. I liked this one a little more than the last one but they were both amazing! And I think that Laura Greenwood and Susan Greenway, the narrator, are an amazing team! I can't wait to read/listen to more! I'm becoming a huge fan.

Fascinating

Servant of Chaos is the third instalment in the Forgotten Gods series. The unique and fascinating premise is wrapped in Egyptian mythology and wholly enthralling. Rhodopis is a captivating character, with no memory of her past life before becoming a slave to the cruel God of Chaos. Abu, a minor god, sees more in Rhodopis; he opens a door of possibilities, inspiring her to seek change and love.

The narration by Susan Greenway is excellent; she portrayed the characters very nicely, bringing the story to life. Servant of Chaos is a well-written and entertaining novella, which I highly recommend. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review.

Egyptian Mythology Series

Servant of Chaos is a Egyptian Mythology story that I listened to on audio narrated by Susan Greenway. This is the third book in the Forgotten Gods Trilogy Series that can be read as a stand-alone. I do feel after reading the entire series that it would be best to read in order due to cross over characters.

I absolutely love Laura’s books! This trilogy does end on a bit of a cliffhanger, which is a set up for the spin off trilogy series Consorts of the Goddess. I cannot wait to get my hands on Quest of the Goddess which will be released May 21, 2020.

Susan Greenway did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of her work in the future.
