Publisher's summary

A mysterious woman knocks on Shelby's door. A secret lies submerged at the bottom of a lake. And someone close to Shelby is going to die.

A woman claiming to be an FBI agent appears on Shelby's doorstep and hands him a picture, asking if he recognizes the man in the photo. Shelby is shocked to see the face of a good friend staring back at him. Little does Shelby know, the woman isn't the only predator on the prowl.

A group of hired killers has rolled into Serenity with one thing on their minds: death. And it's up to Shelby to make sure the bullets fly in the right direction.

Action drips in Serenity Submerged, the fourth heart-pounding addition to the Shelby Alexander Thriller Series. Relationships are questioned, secrets are revealed, and no one is quite who they seem. Serenity will never be the same.

Never disappoints!!

This book series is my favorite. They are shorter but packed so full of action and characters and really keep you interested from the beginning to the end with no down time. I love them!!! Book 4 doesn't disappoint either. Shelby is back.....he's trying to save his friend Fritz.......and guess what???? Yep, Mac is in this one too. It will shock and surprise you and definitely keep you on your toes.

Theo Holland does such a great job narrating and making these characters even more real. Craig as the writer and Theo as the narrater makes such a great combo!!! Totally unstoppable when paired together. I really hope this team continues this series together. I'm dying to listen to book 5.

Gangsters and Lawmen

When Detroit hitmen come after a friend of Shelby's the retired boxer turned fixer gets pulled into the blood bath.
Lots of action, a little romance and some mystery make this a page turner and one of the best of the Shelby Alexander stories I've read so far.
If you enjoy action-adventure in the relentless style of the John Wyck or Jack Reacher, you'll love this one as much as I did.

Good Plot

Not a favorite with the torture and cussing. Otherwise good plot, and action and murder and mystery to figure out. Narration by Theo Holland is good and bring the story to life. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Excellent!

Shelby is back! His old friend Fritz is being hunted by the FBI and hit men, and Shelby is the only one who can save him. As always, the writing is tight, the story fast-paced, and the narrator is excellent!

Another non-serene adventure in Serenity...

In this fourth installment of the Shelby Alexander Series, madness and mayhem once again find Shelby as he tries to help a friend escape a past that was unknown to Shelby. The author, Craig A. Hart, gives us another fast-paced, adrenalin-fueled adventure with a cast of characters mostly familiar from previous stories in this series. The tension builds throughout the story and you won’t be able to put the book down until the very end. I like to read along in a book while listening to the audio version and would like to commend the narrator, Theo Holland, for his captivating performance. The only issue I had with this particular installment of the series was that in this story we were introduced to a new character, a woman with the last name of Ward and while the book consistently referred to her as “Ward”, the audio version kept alternating between “Ward” and “Wade”. It was a bit distracting but not enough to diminish my enjoyment of yet another enthralling episode in the wildly audacious life of Shelby Alexander.

While I did purchase a copy of this book, the author gifted me with a code for the audio version and the above is my honest and unbiased review.

LOTS OF SURPRISES!

Craig Hart and Theo Holland deliver another exciting outing with Shelby and the gang! This time, Fritz is being hunted by hit men, and Shelby must try to save him.

Another winning combination of author and narrator.

Continues to Deliver

The serious "cliff hanger" challenge of earlier books in the series has abated, leaving another complete (if a bit short) novel. I love this format -- concise stories, each on its own -- its a bit like a television series. I do recommend reading or listening to the earlier books. Although this does mostly stand on its own, the depth in the characters is much greater when listening to the whole series. Again, the narrator is well-sited to the book, but a bit slow, so I listened at 1.25 speed.

This book added new characters, and had some unexpected twists. The action near the end was a bit rushed -- but I think it ended well and told and interesting tale.

You never really knows people :P

When a woman with a fake FBI ID shows out at Shelby's door, asking about his friend, things begin to get a little bit crazy :P From there on, the usual action gets upped by some new weird characters and I think is fair to warn you, quite a bit torture.

As always, this is a quick 'read', filled with action and very entertaining :)
