I usually like this authors books.I had a hard time listening to this one due to the narrator.Her over the top,yet unbelievable voices were cringeworthy to me.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

A Mobsters Daughter

Special Agent Keir Ortega has just busted a Mafia ring when she’s ordered to follow up to track the new leader. When she Mets Gina she starts having feelings that haven’t been there in a while. Gun fights, mobsters and mayhem follows wherever they go. Recommend

interesting short listen

enjoyed this short listen. the story is very interesting and the main character is likeable. excellent narration.

It’s good

It’s a good story with good narration. Gets a little confusing at times, but it’s such a short listen that it’s easy to figure out what’s going on.

Action packed

This book is full on non stop action packed! There isn’t any part of this storyline that will have you taking a breath. Good characters and a great narration from Victoria.

Fast paced action

This novel was fast paced and suspenseful. I really enjoyed the narrators ability to bring all the characters to life with such distinguishable voices and attitude. The twists in this story are many and engaging. I would recommend this audio book to any person who enjoys a good female centered story. It is a great crime story. Much to my liking the head investigator is female. One of the things that is nice about this narration and novel is the length. It was fast and easy to spend the almost 2 1/2 hours in one sitting. Enjoy.

Nice story line

Well developed characters with a twist i didn't see coming. could be a really good starter book for a series.

Exciting Read

This was exciting and fast paced. I really liked Gina in this story. It wasn't the most believable story line but the twists kept me hooked.

The narration was good. I wasn't fond of some of her voices or how she said some of the dialogue. Overall, it was a good listen.

I like it.

This is the 2nd book in the series. It follows Gina after the break off with Jae. The writing is much improved. I loved the twists and turns. I need to say, in the first book, I didn't like Gina at all. I ended up loving her by the end of this book. Well worth the read.

Let me start by saying I love most of this authors books

Besides a lot of the story being unbelievable, the narrator I think it needs a little more experience. She had cover the detective answering her superior as if she was in the army. Although they do say yes sir, they do not say it as if they are in Boot Camp. Then Ker immediately blew her cover went to finally realize who uncle Ronnie was. A loan police detective would not do that with no back up not unless he recognized her. In any event I want to say are usually love this authors books, but sadly this isn’t one of them.
