Abridged version

Chose this abridged version after reading the horrible reviews of the unabridged versions’s performance. Doesn’t anyone proof listen to performances before they are released?

Fast moving intrigue

Great storyline and narration!! Couldn't stop until finished in one sitting. Wonderful! Recommend highly. Good work audible. The best ever.

Not the best Rapp novel

Not a bad job by Armand Schultz but the storyline wasn't too exciting. Hope the next is bryter.

Enjoyment at its Max

I just love Vince Flynn's stories. He sure knows how to write them and the reader knows how to read each characters part and pull the listener into the story.

Flynn keeps rolling

Yet another excellent book by Vince Flynn. A great additon to the catalog. The abrigded audio format, while keeping the pace of the book, lacks the depth found in the unabridged print version. Do not let this dscourage you, however, download this book and you will not be sorry.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I am a fan of Vince Flynn. When I got my Kindle Fire I purchased the book . I was given an option to get a trial for the audible as an accompaniment to the reading. I did. After listening to the audible, I was disappointed to find that I had a shortened condensed version. Sorry that left me unhappy. Not what I had expected. Since I ordered it by phone I guess I will learn. Not what I wanted!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I think the books would be really thrilling with Dick Hill reading them, but I still liked it a lot with Guidall reading it. I like the unabridged versions better so it isn't over too soon.

I am new to Vince Flynn books and now will go back and check the books 'before' "Separation of Power".

Terrible Reader!

What a terrible reader! High angry snotty voice with yelling and sarcasm throughout the book.
A total lack of respect for Vince Flynn.

Excellent!!! The best Rapp novel so far.

Would you listen to Separation of Power again? Why?

I would listen to this over and over again, because I loved the operation in Iraq, and I loved the final confrontation between Rapp, and the senator who tried so hard to kill him, and in the process, gain the presidency.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Separation of Power?

The final confrontation between Rapp, and the senator. I could just picture the look of horror on his face as he was about to die.

What does Armand Schultz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Shultz brings a great narration to the novel. He also adds the element of great anticipation when he reads the parts of the novel that contain action.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The moment for me was when Rapp showed great emotion for the first time when he was faced with the possibility of being alone for the rest of his life, and then,having Anna forgive him.

As I stated in the review of the unabridged novel. This version was much better due to the narration of Shultz. He narrates most of Flynn's novels in the abridged series. If you like his narration, I would recommend listening to the rest of his narrations in the abridged series.
