It's always a risk giving a new author a try. But I LOVED this book. It's not only empowering for women who have been bruised and hurt it's also a love story at its core. A tragic love story that spans thousands of years. But a love story nonetheless. I'm going to buy the first book in the series and listen to that now.

I didn’t know what to think coming into this book. It instantly draws you in. This book has my scared out of my mind at times and disgusted at others. It’s a great story liken to Anne Rices Vampire novels. Jesse is very talented and has a dark mind. I just discovered this book is a sequel. So now I’m going to have to listen to the first book.

Great read!! I highly recommend it.

absolutely loved this listen. The narrator's voice took me aback with how perfect it was. it's not often you catch that but this collaboration was just awesome. Tessa Markle is a gem and I need to find more of her work.

this book has made me want to listen to book one so badly. Great character development and storyline. easily a 10 book series with the potential for the big screen. Highly recommend.
