Publisher's Summary

Neuro-linguistic programming can boost your sales skills. Everything you say, your tone of voice, body posture, and facial expression have an impact on both your neurology and that of your interlocutor. This is the ABC of Neuro-linguistic programming.

Neurological language and processes are closely related. You will learn how to leverage the language and all kinds of communication to start mental routines in the brain of your customer. These techniques will allow you to influence and manipulate the flow of thoughts of your client's mind to bring the negotiation to a rapid and advantageous closure.

This audiobook will teach you:

  • What are the most common mistakes in selling and how to avoid them
  • How to gain the trust of your client through NLP to close the sale
  • Techniques to influence your interlocutor through verbal, non-verbal, intraverbal, and extraverbal communication
  • The VAK model to persuade your client and read his thoughts, not his words
  • How to fascinate the client on the emotional and personal side
  • NLP anchors to recall particular emotions and sensations
  • What questions to ask your client to open their mind
  • Distinguish empowering and depotentising mental states to use them in your favor
  • How to close the sales negotiation

Is this a joke?

If this is a joke, then okay. It's pretty damn funny. But if this is not a joke, which I suspect it is not, this is the worst pile of spit I have ever heard from Audible. It has 100 obviously fake reviews and I see why. I see why the price was so low. I get it, buyer beware.

I can't tell if this is just a terrible translation into English from Italian or if the "author" simply spoke into his iPhone and relied on voice to text and auto correct, but approximately 15% of the words, phases, and sentences literally make no grammatical sense and have no continuity. What is strangely interesting is that there are about 3 times throughout the reading that the author actually made sense and his little nuggets of wisdom were spot on. But 95% of the content is just worthless babble.

There was 0% post production editing in the sound booth. The book is 1:45 hours and that is exactly how long it took to narrate it. It seems as if it was done in one take. You can tell because the narrator clears his throat on several occasions without editing. He mispronounces words constantly and has no rhythmic cadence to his voice at all. He reminds me of John McCrea, the lead singer of the band Cake, who similarly sounds like as if he'd rather be somewhere else.

I definitely recommend that you DON'T waste your money on it, but hey, do whatever you want to do. But seriously, read all the 100 review before mine and tell me you believe they are real. And this "author" has other books as well! Oh well, I hope he enjoys my $5.95. I'll give it to him, he certainly pulled one over on me.

Terrible-Horrible- Run don't walk

Luigi Padovesi has a good grasp on the Subject and had it been any other narrator then it might have stood a chance.
However, Peter Prova completely, totally and utterly devastates the book and tortures the subject matter. If his voice droned on then at least you could fall asleep.
Does Peter Prova even know the first thing about NLP - there is No Tonality, No Spirit, No Variation - i would go so far as to say he was utterly bored out of his mind with this narration.
No i could not get past chapter 3- i had to drive to a sales meeting and had to switch to another refresher or drive off a cliff.

Best sell NLP

I haven't finished listening this yet but have to comment on how organized this book is. It actually has a table of contents with links that work. There are even additional resources at the end of chapters with links to videos, summaries, and in depth explanations. This is by far the best e book I've purchased. I'll update later about the actual book. As of now, so far...so good!

essential guide

Clear, concise and compelling is hard for an author to achieve and even harder when you have multiple authors. This book achieves all three goals. I just received my copy of the book and was captivated by the stories and the specific processes. This is a welcome book on the specifics of how to run your own brain. I highly recommend.

This book grabbed from the first chapter. I'm still in early chapters and I can already feel a shift taking place in me. Love it, love the information and the best part about this book is the way it's describe . He gives you the tools, the practice exercise, and answers questions as you're thinking them. It's genius. sell content !

Not what you'd expect.

Overall I think this is an excellent book. In my opinion, it's a bit misleading though. When I purchased the book, I was expecting it to be filled with NLP techniques I can put to use. This is not nearly the case. Only half of the book (no exaggeration) is dedicated to that. The other half is dedicated to understanding other people. It's not a bad topic but that's not what I bought "this" book for.

More easy to implement

5 stars for being a practical book. Although sometimes it treat the listener a bit too much like if he / she was a kid that needs slow, detailed explanation. A good introduction to NLP and good selection of exercises to start trying it.
