Informative Book

This book has a great deal of information for beginners in self-publishing. I like the format of the book. The introduction gives a brief overview of each chapter. The overviews are crisp and concise. Each chapter is full of specific examples for each phase of the publishing process. I highly recommend this book.

The unique thing about this book is that Martin goes into detail about the methods he used to launch three of his books and the things he would change about it in hindsight. Advice is given about which companies he prefers to hire for various tasks in the process of publishing a book.

Writing a book is a gargantuan task that requires tons of effort and work. Most people will never write a book and those who do will not write a second or third. Martin has. What is important to know is that publishing a book isn’t just about writing it. It requires editing, planning, design and most importantly – marketing. Lots of it.

Very valuable! As I am reading, I am using the additional help and guides provided throughout the book. The free pdf resource guide is worth the price of the book. It has already been beneficial in helping me improve my book description. Martin makes it so easy, and he is so giving with his expertise and knowledge. I am so glad I chose to invest in this publishing book for beginners.
