Great Marketing Ideas In Here

The marketing ideas in this book are ones that I will use for years to come. I’ll just share a couple that stood out to me, although there are even better ones I could share.

For example: Julie says that one way to connect with niche influencers/authors is to help boost/share their product, posts or books consistently when they are first starting out. If you constantly show up on their social media comments they’ll begin to recognize you and may very likely return the favor in the future when you launch your books and products. This really helped me change my perspective, so I liked that.

I also loved the practical advice Julie gives when she talks about the guy at the convention booth just handing out his book to anyone before even having a conversation or connecting with them first. He got no where by doing that. Great point!

“Networking for the Introvert” was a great chapter. There are too many good things to say about this book.

The data tracking part of the book was gold to me!

I would recommend this book even to social media influencers and speakers. Oh, she says that speaking & authoring are two fields that should be done together. If you are doing one but not the other, you’re leaving money on the table. That was a good nugget!

Thank you Julie, it was a great read!
All the best to you and your team!
—Everyday Dan

Good if you’re selling more than your book

There’s a lot of good insight to gain from this book however, it focused heavily on promoting other aspects of you, your business, and not just your book. In fact, it seemed to highlight that it’s hard to market your book but it’s easy to market yourself or your business. It felt a little bit discouraging for me as an author who only has a book to sell. I don’t have a business or a website or any other side gig that my book is promoting. I just wanted to promote just my Book.
