Nicely discribed

This audio book may deter some people because of the title and think they don't have a problem with their self-esteem. But don't be deceived this audio book is fantastic and can help with all kinds of things like anxiety, stress, inner critic, difficult feelings, understanding yourself and why you do the things you do and behave certain ways, etc

Eye opening

I was so shocked to see how this audio book hit the nail on the head with me....it was so "eye opening". Really straight forward. I liked it very much. Just did not bother to listen the last section because it dealt with children and I have no reason to listen that section

Inner critic

I experienced a lot of frustration when I initially attempted to deal with my low self-esteem and social anxiety. But after listening this audio book and Schema Therapy, A Practitioner's Guide I realized that a huge part of what was preventing my progress was beating myself up with negative thoughts, linked to negative beliefs, which would then cause depression.

This audio book is phenomenal for those whose obsessive compulsive disorder is intrinsically connected to and a result of poor self esteem.

Effective approach

The best audio book on the subject I've seen. Very well narrated, easy to follow and understand with every paragraph having purpose . It's a how to audio book that gives the reasons behind the suggestions.

We use this audio book in my college classes. The authors demonstrate some tried and true suggestions to help people suffering from low self-esteem. I would suggest it for anyone who would benefit from self-esteem help.

I actually enjoyed listening.

As the title suggests - this is probably the only book form the "self-help" category that I actually enjoyed listening and can recommend to anyone. It has practical advice, direction and it's motivational enough to do something.

Like every piece of advise,

This is one of those books that you have to listen over and over, perhaps even review yearly to make sure that you are still following the advise contained herein. Like every piece of advise, the lessons taught here dissipate with time, so it is very important that you do the Action Exercises as you listen the book and review your notes frequently.

The messages are good.

This is the type of book I could listen to repeatedly (audiobook). The messages are good. For example, Author attacks a lot of areas that most of us typically complain about in life. He tries to help us get out of that through explaining how one can take more personal responsibility and use that as a discipline.
