Bad book. Bad performance.

This book is billed as a guide to help with self discipline. In fact the only help you will get to your self discipline is if you can finish it. After spending
more than half of the book telling you what a miserable excuse for a human you are because you fell into the obvious trap of procrastination, the solution is, wait for it, SMART goals. Wow. What an incredible way to build your self discipline.

To make the book even less helpful, the book is read by a voice actor who has no apparent understanding of punctuation or inflection. If it wasn't for the fact that he can pronounce the words correctly, I would have assumed it was a 90s robot reading the words one after another after another in a droning verbal diarrhea.

Must read/listen

Author knows exactly what I am doing as a super procrastinator 😂 and he recommends solutions or calls out consequences. And it is so simple yet genius.
I already feel better & I have started making slow but steady progress. The voice in my head says oh darn, for lil pleasure if I procrastinate I am going make ‘a mountain of a molehill’. So I have been at it. Need to listen to this guy more times and that way it will stay in my head longer and the success rate at overcoming procrastinating is bigger!😊

Excellent

I really enjoyed listening to the details on how the brain works. Unfortunately, it repeated the same information quite a bit. On the other hand,the behavioral tips (how to fix a problem) were useful.

Sadly did not learn anything new from this audiobook. I found that it was filled with mainly basic statements "procrastination wastes a lot of time... set smart goals."

I would recommend this book to friends.

I would recommend this book to friends, family, also co-workers. This book does give us the science behind it. But I do know they're more to come.
