The best part is that this book teachings not only apply to your health but also to life in general. I honestly loved it and it was a super easy Listen.It can work for weight loss, fitness, writing your novel - any life goal you want. This book is well worth it. Great information and well laid out. I read a lot of “self help, self improvement books and I can say this book is amazing. I learned about this book from a friend who, in my opinion, is self-disciplined. But she reads this book regularly. I, on the other hand, have struggled with forming self-discipline!!!

Informative and helpful guide

In this short but very useful book, Jocko Davis gives us the keys to the kingdom. Well not exactly the kingdom but to a good life filled with all the things we want. The key is discipline and the key to discipline is habit. Habits as Jocko Davis lays out clearly and simply are the daily things we can do to nudge us along and keep us in line with our North Star (the long term picture). His approach will help even the most undisciplined find a simple way to keep on track for the long hall. His methods are proven. His approach is simple. Jocko Davis tells us the truth about how to really reach your health and fitness and other life goals. This book shows that it's about the long term strategies of creating and maintaining healthy habits that will really health you reach your goal instead of finding the perfect workout or diet plan.

You have to be able to take Author real life anecdote's and see how they relate to your individual situations, and the way he writes, he makes it easy to relate. This book has helped me be more focused on what I try to accomplish - from a daily and long term perspective. This book was very helpful without wasting any of your time. It is practical, easy to listen , and immediate useful. It is the type of book that even non readers can successfully and quickly get through. Very Well written.

This is the first book that I listen in the subject and at least for me has been very useful. I am applying some of the recommendations in my daily life mostly to organize some task that I have been postponed for this book.Book was informative regarding breaking bad habits and establishing new. It is very informative to know about discipline. The author did an excellent job in this book. very well. I enjoyed this book from Amazon and got some great directions. Especially if you follow this book, then help to build your daily routines and set goals

A Chapter-A-Day book on Self Discipline

I read a daily passage from this book every morning. I'm only on Day 30, but reading this has already opened my eyes to what it takes to develop (and keep) self-discipline in my life. I've actually struggled with trying to develop self-discipline in my life, and I have routinely fallen short of my goals because I lacked the discipline to carry through with the steps necessary to attain those goals. What an incredible arrangement of info! Not only does the author tell about what Seals go through and the mindset that is required, he lets us know how we can apply it to our life and work situation, and any part of our life.

Very helpful toward self improvement

So far I have read three of Author books and they all have been pretty solid. I love books and writers that are straight forward and to the point. He doesn't go all over the place. He keeps his teachings simple and blunt. The book was well written and very practical. I enjoyed the structure of each chapter; it had a very logical layout. Additionally, the end of each chapter contained a bullet point list of the concepts covered with a quick summary of each. Author delivers again with a clear, concise and eminently practical manual on the fundamental quality to all forms of success in life

easy to understand and follow advice.

I have read a lot of self help books, blogs and articles that focus on "how to" develop good habits that stick. While most of what I have read provides a few nuggets or good ideas that I can use for myself or share with others who I help as part of my job, none have impressed me enough to adopt the whole system. However, after reading The Self-Discipline Blueprint I feel that I have found that one system to help me to develop and sustain the habits I desire. This book was very helpful in helping me learn the importance of being gentle with myself. I was raised by parents who had quite difficult childhoods. So, they raised me to be hard on myself (like they were raised) whenever I did not execute my intended goal.
