Stolen Valor Right Here!

This is NOT from Jocko Willink, war hero and veteran. This is from some guy who tells stories about Jocko Willink and happens to share his name. He uses the name Jocko to grab credit from the real Jocko. Feel stupid for not catching that before I got the book. So disappointing. If you want to write a book on self discipline and happen to share the name with someone far more successful at self discipline and writing about it - just don’t.

Practical advice that works!

This book will give you pointers to direct you towards daily discipline.
You have to be able to take Jocko Davis 's real life anecdote's and see how they relate to your individual situations, and the way he writes, he makes it easy to relate. This book has helped me be more focused on what I try to accomplish - from a daily and long term perspective.

Very useful book.

This little book has an immense amount of life changing information if you apply it. Ive started applying some of these principles, and not only am I getting more done, but I feel my self esteem and confidence increasing. Its only been weeks bu I can tell this will stay with me for many many years

I would definitely recommend this book

This book draws the powerful connection between self-discipline and reaching your goals. They are so closely connected that if you are going to achieve your goals you must master self-discipline. No one stumbles into success. It is hard work and the only way to do that work is if you can discipline yourself. In the beginning it is easy enough to keep yourself motivated.

I listen this book with big interest. This is really an excellent book. In this book, everything is laid out in a easy to understand step-by-step manner. It’s just like having a personal trainer next to you to remind you of your end goals, your health and your desired body. You will get all the necessary steps to develop a burning desire to eat healthy, exercise, and build long-lasting habits so you never have to diet again.

best book for self discpline.

I have struggled for years with my mental health and had an eating disorder and leading on from that depression, anxiety, self esteem issues and drug addictions. I am only 12% into this m book and have already made some realisations about my thinking and my discipline thanks to this book. I can't wait to get through the full thing.

The guide to self diusviplinbe

I think the is worth a listen. The main points are that there is no easy way and quick fix to make a big progress. I listen a chapter each morning. I find that best. That way you chew and digest one concept and have the time and space for it to soak in rather than trying to wolf it all down at once and overwhelm yourself. Have already improved drastically from knowledge applied. just bought 3 more copies of this book because it's brilliant. I love his down-to-earth approach. He is teacher who practices what he teaches and I am also checking out several of his other books. I really loved this book and I hate so many 'self improvement' books

Informative and helpful guide

In this short but very useful book, Jocko Davis gives us the keys to the kingdom. Well not exactly the kingdom but to a good life filled with all the things we want. The key is discipline and the key to discipline is habit. Habits as Jocko Davis lays out clearly and simply are the daily things we can do to nudge us along and keep us in line with our North Star (the long term picture). His approach will help even the most undisciplined find a simple way to keep on track for the long hall. His methods are proven. His approach is simple. Jocko Davis tells us the truth about how to really reach your health and fitness and other life goals. This book shows that it's about the long term strategies of creating and maintaining healthy habits that will really health you reach your goal instead of finding the perfect workout or diet plan.
