Recommended!

As an undergrad I observed this to be an important asset. I have spent such a significant number of hours perusing things,
hearing things, just to overlook them and need to think about them all again come test time, and afterward overlook them again after the class is finished.
Numerous understudies appear to be amazingly satisfied with overlooking portion of what they spent quite a lot of cash to learn,
I for one spent the cash to know and recollect what I have been instructed. These procedures merit a bar of gold.

Self-Discipline

This book stays with me consistently, giving me such incredible knowledge into observing my contemplations/practices that rout self-restraint. When we gain proficiency with the methods our subliminal personality uses to keep us from our objectives, we can utilize methodologies to defeat them. There's a piece of us that lean towards solace and the easy way. Furthermore, except if we figure out how to get that part to participate with the piece of us that has objectives and aspiration, we'll keep on battling with self discipline.I very suggest it. It's a genuine jewel in my library.

Superb

The book offers the regular mix of science, personal experiences and tips, it's more down-to-earth than other books I have read. Maybe that's because it's based on a course that actually deal with people going through the emotions described in this book. I'm remembering on a daily basis what the author wrote and implementing her suggestions. It might actually be the last self-discipline book I ever read.

Fascinating and Helpful

The plain & simple knowledge of the case studies is empowering. It is a great help to know that these challenges have been isoloated, experimented with & eventually overcome by deploying certain strategies. Just the knowledge of something is "do-able" was very empowering for me. The book is structured very well, & the chapter summaries help a lot in quick refreshes - I'd say this book was one of my best science reads this year.

A powerful and impactful read.

This book is an excellent addition to the positive psychology genre, and I can easily see how this became such a popular class at Stanford (where the author is a professor). Much of it is a reminder of how best to approach your life with self-discipline, but I also found several "new" thoughts and ideas that changed or altered my previous perspective.
