Editorial reviews

John Lennon said, "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans." This is something most of us are well aware of, as our countless commitments seem to make it almost impossible to find real happiness throughout the day. Amanda Gore's You Can Be Happy, though, is here to help. Performed with a reassuring enthusiasm from veteran narrator Rebecca Macauley, this audiobook is full of practical and helpful advice on how you successfully juggle all your commitments and still find happiness. Whether you're having trouble with your partner or your job, the anecdotes and techniques detailed in Gore's book are a sure way to step up your outlook on life.

Publisher's summary

Juggling a career, family, and other commitments is often overwhelming in today's busy world; happiness can seem to ebb away. But you CAN be happy, using Amanda Gore's simple and practical techniques. The 'mindbody' approach reminds us that our mental and physical wellbeing are not separate, but one and the same. From stressbusting techniques to understanding our partner better, You Can Be Happy helps us view life from a different perspective.

Critic reviews

"I can't say enough good about her. Amanda personifies Chicken Soup in talk. She's too good not to be known to the entire world." (Mark Victor Hansen)

Wholistic View on Happiness

This book is excellent on giving a good practical overview on being happy. In many respects it is exactly the self-help book you expect to read on being helping. The narrator is very positive, and the book covers topics from love, to perception of life, to relationships, to health, to career, and spirituality rather than focusing on any specific (as most happiness related books do). I am still unhappy personnaly at present, but this book helped me get closer to the goal.
