Publisher's summary

With roughly a third of all marriages ending in divorce, there's never been a better time for this refresher course in the true meaning of a successful union. As New York Times best-selling author Dr. David Jeremiah reminds us, it's a biblical truth: Sex and passionate, romantic love are God's ideas!

Nothing rivals the beauty of the writing in the Song of Solomon - and nothing rivals the wisdom of Solomon on matters of love, romance, marriage, and sexual intimacy. Dr. Jeremiah's thoughtful interpretation of Solomon and Shulamith's relationship provides all of us - whether married or single - with valuable lessons for a better, happier, more fulfilling life and a long, loving marriage.

good but dry

I would say that this is an average book on the subject of the Song of Solomon. You will learn some important truths here from the scripture. But is this author ever dry at times. The narration is very dry.

Anyone can benefit from this book.

I discovered perspectives I wish I grew up knowing, I think everyone should read this book. For the agnostic this book is full of universal relational truths, for the Christian an in depth look at the book Song of Solomon.

Powerfully refreshing interpretation of the bibld

Very easy book to study and hard to put down. I would have been more blessed if my church had shared this truth so openly and powerfully. I highly recommend the book to every couple regardless of denomination. Truly profound message for all.

Why not narrated by David Jeremiah?

This narration was not the best. Sounds very cold and unconnected to the subject matter. Robotic in nature and not what I would have expected for such an important topic. I really enjoyed the book. Just not the narrator. If you can overlook the main reason you choose an audiobook, go for it.

Marriage is a Covenant, not a sacrament

Study the Protestant Reformation to get better Theology. John Calvin, the Westminster Confession, Gordon Clark and John W. Robbins have great material to study.

Read Family Shepherds by Voddie Baucham and Masculine Mandate by Richard Phillips for better books on leading your home.
