Mommies Only

While the content is somewhat helpful to both parents -- the advice could be applied by father or mother -- be warned that this audioprogram speaks to a particular audience, preschool mothers. I seem to recall that Dad got one mention, along with other people that may have a relationship with the child, such as babysitters. Having a particular audience is perfectly okay, but in fairness to potential purchasers, the description of the audioprogram should better identify that audience.

Waste of Time!

What a waste of time! This book offers no unique or interesting insight and, at time, can be a little scary in its narrow perspective. If you find this helpful, you may want to take some basic parenting classes (we can all benefit from that) or evaluate your ability and readiness to parent a child, which is a significant moral and social responsibility.
I personally found Emotional Intelligence to be infinately more useful on the subject of what a child needs than this trite book. I personally think that book (Emotional Intelligence) teaches people about parenting and provides insights about crucial issues to the growth of one's baby (should be a must read for every parent, teacher, officer worker, family member..... etc etc etc). There is no single right way to parent but, hopefully, all parents have some basic emotional skills to help their child reach certain basic emotional levels. This book is geared to those lacking in such basic skills.
