Great Book For Planning Your Wedding

What made the experience of listening to Wedding Planning the most enjoyable?

This book is a really great book for planning your wedding. I just wished I had known about this before I got married. I got this book so I am able to help my son plan his wedding. It gives you some great ideas and easy how-to's on your wedding planning. Also this book makes it so easy you can listen to it while you are driving or what not.

I highly recommend this book for everyone who is planning on getting married.

I am so glad that I found this audio-book. Sam Siv provides amazing information on planning a wedding and Erin Fossa has a voice that is very easy to follow. I actually felt as though I was getting one on one attention from a professional wedding planner. This book definitely made planning my wedding a breeze and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I would definitely recommend this audiobook to anyone who wants ideas on how to plan a wedding, how to plan a wedding on a budget, and ideas on when, where and how. This book covers it all.

The most memorable section of this book is all the important information on how to work around any budget. This includes when to schedule your wedding and what things you should do your self.

What about Erin Fossa’s performance did you like?

I thought that Erin Fossa tone was set just right for this book and I liked how she kind of smiled with her voice in a couple of sections.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

"Wedding Planning" by Sam Siv is one of the most detailed books I have ever listened to on the subject. This highly researched book is very well written and the format is unbelievable. Love the tone set by the narrator.

This is the ultimate guide to planning your dream wedding regardless of your budget. This book by Sam Siv covers everything.

This book covers every question you may have on planning a wedding, and a few that you never considered. There are no questions left unanswered. In addition, there is no subject that is left out.

Venue, food, clothing, accommodations, etiquette, bridal parties and so much more are all covered. I really liked how each item was broken down into sections for ease of understanding and reference.

I learned a lot from this audiobook

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

I will surely remember all the definitive ideas I have listened to in this audiobook. Specifically choosing of the perfect wedding dress, accessories and stuffs for the bride and the groom, the venue and decorations, themes & even photography!

Actually, there are a lot of things I actually didn't have on my own wedding but now, with the help of this book, I want to make sure that nothing will be left out when I plan my 2 sibling's respective weddings.

I've listened to the book at least 5 times during my planning process. It reminds me to do tasks along the way and it provides alternative options to consider.

However.

Would you try another book from Sam Siv and/or Erin Fossa?

Sure. I think this had some good information. HOWEVER, the author constantly said one thing and then added "however" and said something different. After a while I began to count the "howevers" and found this terribly distracting,

Sure. I think he has some good information.

Have you listened to any of Erin Fossa’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have never heard her before, so I have no basis for comparison. Her voice is pleasant.

Did Wedding Planning inspire you to do anything?

I stained and polyurethaned my ring-bearer box while listening to this.

Boring and not helpful

If you want to listen to a boring book that states the obvious, here it is. I've googled check lists and looking over that for 5 min is far more helpful than this book.

The Most Annoying Audiobook in the World

Would you try another book from Sam Siv and/or Erin Fossa?

No. I found it to be incredibly annoying.

What was most disappointing about Sam Siv’s story?

Every other line was "it would NOT be good to do this, but it would be socially acceptable to do THIS." I wanted to use this as a way to get ideas, not to be restricted by the author's view of what is and what isn't acceptable.
