Helpful Insight

This was a great book to learn about the toxic people who might be in your everyday life. I enjoyed the definitions, examples, and tips on how to deal with each type since they aren’t all the same and cant be handled the same way either. This book was definitely an eye opener to look more closely at who you encounter everyday and includes scenarios and advice on interacting with them.
Scott did a really good job narrating this book. He spoke in an informative tone and at a steady pace that kept my interest.

A Must Read!!

This is one of those books that you will mark as a "favorite" and refer back to many times throughout your lifetime. My first expectations was that this was going to be about male/female relationships, however, I was pleasantly surprised. This books pretty much deals with every type of person that you will meet in your daily life. This book is wonderfully done and explains what the person is exactly doing, as well as solutions for each scenario. As I was listening, there was even examples that folks might encounter that had never crossed my mind, however, I feel that it is important to be prepared for when these scenarios arise.

Narration was also done wonderfully...not too fast, but not too slow either....Great job!

Great advice!

This book had great advice. I did end up skipping around a bit to the areas that were of particular interest for me, but all of those areas were very helpful. Great narration as well!

A Great Audiobook On Dealing With Toxic People

Toxic Relationships was an informative and eye-opening listen. I was expecting to gain insight into the difficult relationships and how to deal with them and this book explained it very well. It went over the different types of toxic people and offered ways in which to handle the situations one might possibly fall into while encountering these people. I don't think that toxic relationships are always based on personality disorders. There must be instances when people are quite normal yet toxic together whether in the workplace, in a family, friends, etc. Still some unanswered questions but a very good audiobook.

Scott R. Smith did an outstanding job narrating this audiobook. He spoke clearly and in an informative manner. He was easy and enjoyable to listen to.

Not for me

Based on the reviews I figured I'd give this book a shot. It's pretty much the same theme for all chapters. Person A is a Jerk. What to do. Options: kill them with kindness or Ignore them. Same thing for each chapter.
