Publisher's summary

The Bible is rich with leadership gold. But we haven't mined it for all it's worth.

Leaders know a lot about the Bible and a lot about leadership — separately. We haven't yet explored the depths of the Bible as a primary source for leadership insight. This book aims to change that.

As evidence of why today's churches and organizations desperately need Bible-centered leadership, The Top 10 Leadership Conversations in the Bible reveals actionable wisdom to:

  • Lead change with spiritual authority
  • Avoid disqualifying failures and accidental Phariseeism
  • Fight the only worship war that matters
  • Take bold risks backed by prayer and planning
  • Make good judgment calls to create a leadership legacy

In discovering these insights and more from his research of over 1,000 biblical interactions, Steve Moore refined a study process to help you design your unique Bible-centered leadership development plan.

Must read for biblical leaders

I truly enjoyed this book. It was a hugely insightful and relevant. Today's leaders require more than competence; they require character. This resource teaches leaders how to acquire both. I will also be purchasing the hard copy.

Surprise!

I was surprised because the books emotional impact snuck up on me. I have been encouraged to want to be God's messenger and not just a good leader or preacher. This is a thought provoking and useful book.

Worth reading multiple times!

This book inspired and challenged me to be more infused and informed by the Word of God and provided practical tools for how to be a Bible-centered leader. Thank you, Steve, for your diligent study and hard work that has produced this resource. I have already passed it on to all the senior leaders in our organization.

Great content ... Needs anohter sound editor.

What did you love best about The Top 10 Leadership Conversations in the Bible?

This is a great researched based leadership book. The Top 10 Leadership Conversations in the Bible came to my attention via a recommendation and I've since recommended it as well.

What did you like best about this story?

I love the 10 easy to remember words and the stories Steve shares along the way.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

First of all, these are Audible generated questions but since Steve and I both understand feedback, I will be more honest here. ;-) For the love of leadership, and re-listening, please get a sound editor next time who will edit out each breath, pop and crackle. It's great info that leaders should listen to and continue to re-listen to. J. Oswald Sanders, a leader I'm sure Steve and I both admire, wrote in his book Spiritual Leadership that its not your breadth of reading but your depth of reading that matters. The Top 10 Leadership Conversations in the Bible is a book all leaders should deep dive into but this narration, as is, could hinder some listener's from even finishing it the first time.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I love this book. It's convicting, concise and complete.

Any additional comments?

Buy the print book, get the kindle edition or listen to this as I did. This is solid information and I'm grateful for Steve's efforts in putting it together.
Great job Steve and I'm looking forward to hearing more of your books on Audible.

Legalistic book.

Nothing new, same old religious principles, methods and opinions. They leave the Gospel and Jesus totally out. Some might think it’s good stuff but same old man focus, religious, leadership principles.
