Publisher's summary

Most organizational books on the market profess to have a one-size-fits-all solution to home organization.

Common anthems are to: go paperless, get rid of everything that doesn't spark joy, and capsulize your wardrobe. While some find success using these methods, the majority of American women are facing decades of delayed decisions piled high in unmarked boxes and shoved in storage rooms bursting at the seams. Fifteen-minute-a-day organization tips and color coordinated plastic boxes are no match for the memories and clutter contained in those rooms.

What is needed is a complete mindset shift. It's time to look at home organization in a whole new way. Each phase of a woman's life brings unique organizational challenges and emotional clutter to tackle. Looking at a women's life as a journey through four distinct phases of life provides a framework to anchor basic organization principals.

"This is the home organization book that will make the rest of the books in your collection make sense." - Lisa Woodruff, Professional Organizer and Productivity Expert.

As a professional organizer and productivity specialist, Lisa Woodruff has helped hundreds of women in Cincinnati, Ohio and thousands of women around the world, get their homes organized and keep them that way. Her book The Mindset of Organization encourages women to take back their homes one phase at a time. Find out more at www.organize365.com/mindset

Lisa has my heart! Must read

I loved how this book does not look at organization as a one size fits all issue. I love the different stages of life and how she allows decide where you are.
I love each method and most of all I love her optimism and views through out the book. I have begun my Sunday basket and so far, I love it.

Finally Free

I have been a fan of Lisa, finding her through her podcast, for about 2 years. She is a teacher and teaches those of us who thought we could never get organized how to do it step by step. My life is more peaceful, productive and organized thanks to her. This book is funny and practical

The New Bible for Organization Junkies

The writing and pleasant narration is very well-done. The content is inspiring, offering lots of ideas for women (and men) in different stages of life. Ms. Woodruff explains the 'why and how' of different organizational approaches for specific groups. This book is very useful, very interesting, and very different. Highly recommend!

Amazing

Seriously - this is the EIGHTH book I've read in the last month on organization and the BEST. It's the only one that talked about generation mind frames with regards to our clutter and our stuff. I like to understand WHY as well as HOW. Definitely a 5 star. Next I'm going to get the app and get to work! Thanks Lisa!

Good but not detailed enough for me

It had lots of stories more than how to’s. I have been working on organizing for a while so I was hoping it really discussed mental mindsets. It was very basic and beginner for me so it wasn’t very relevant but had some good ideas and perfect for a starting place!
