Publisher's Summary

The Little Book of Clarity shows you how to clear your head and get things done. Based on the best-selling book Clarity, this new edition has been distilled to the essentials, getting right to the point. With no vague theory or superfluous anecdotes, this book gets you right to work on reducing stress and boosting productivity by uncovering your mind's in-built 'self-clearing' capacity.

As you begin to understand the concept of innate thinking, the benefits will start emerging in every corner of your life. As you think less, you'll win more - at work, at home, and at the game of life as a whole. You'll rid your mind of clutter for good as you focus on what matters and finally free up the time you need to pursue your dreams.

Life's constant bombardment of 'to-do' and 'urgent' pushes your own priorities clear off the radar. Before you know it, you're always busy but not getting very much accomplished. Personal goals fall by the wayside as you struggle just to keep up with day-to-day life. This book shows you how to cut the noise, clear the fog and start working on what matters to you.

 • Harness the power of insight and principles
 • Discover your true identity and innate wisdom
 • Build better relationships and stronger connections
 • Discard toxic goals and pursue authentic desires

Clarity is the mind's natural state, a state to which it will always return if given the chance. Although it's evident in children, most adults have had this ability conditioned out of them by our 'go-go-go' society, leaving them mentally muddy, stressed, and ineffectual. The Little Book of Clarity helps you erase that conditioning and gain the peace of mind to live a life you love - permanently.

Incredible! READ THIS BOOK FOR DEEP INSIGHTS

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I recommend this book to EVERYONE alive on the planet today. I've read over 400 books in the past 3 years and this one is top of the top---THE BEST, no BS, just perspective that will completely change your life if you get it---the insight, inside out, not outside in.

What did you like best about this story?

insight and the dog chasing tail story. overall fantastic utilization of metaphors like the dog, the snow globe to illustrate the equation that _IS_ the story.

clarity = capacity - contamination

thinking about the "experience revolution" as the next wave of society

What about Jamie Smart’s performance did you like?

great voice, good pace, rarely do i hear an author that can bring such CLARITY to the performance / narration

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

clarity = capacity - contamination

feelings can reveal to you thoughts and beliefs that you may not be aware of at a conscious level

Any additional comments?

jamie, thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Great Big Book!

In a wonderful conversational voice, he lays out facts about our thoughts, about our emotions. I'll be listening to this often!

I'm getting his Results book.

Regrettable

Just wish I had my credit back. Tried to listen to it but it was too monotone and lifeless... almost put me to sleep. Maybe it has a good message or maybe it's just a sleep aid

Pure marketing: DON'T give them your email address

Where there were some helpful elements to Smart's philosophy, I can't really remember much of them because I fee so frustrated with this book.

At the end of each chapter, there is a statement that additional content is available on his website. To access this, you submit an email address. I found this accessed me no meaningful additional content, but instead gained me spammy marketing emails from Smart and his business partners.

I understand that this sort of thing is common in his industry, but as someone who claims to be selling clarity (I think in reality, he is merely selling himself), filling my inbox with spam is not a very honourable way to achieve this.

I definitely would not return to this author because I believe this speaks poorly to his integrity, somewhat undermining his philosophies on living a life of clarity. Sorry.

What the hell was that about?

I listen and read quite a few different books. When it comes to clarity I can sum up my opinion by saying 'I don't get it'. It seems unstructured and I just can't work out any logic from the ramblings. I have to admit that I kept thinking that it would get better but it just never did. I gave up around an hour before the end of the book as I have given it plenty of time already. I maybe different to everyone else and this is obviously a personal opinion but it wasn't for me at all.
