A wonderful recording on mindful parenting items.
This is not a reading of a printed book, but rather a recording of Brene sharing her thoughts on parenting opportunities to nurture whole-hearted families. She talks about shaming, play, perseverance, faith, hard work, boundaries. Her personal life examples are great and illustrate her points well. I really enjoyed it. Wish it was longer, hope Brene will make more material on the subject of parenting!

Poignant, Powerful, and Practical
As a newer father, this was very helpful to see the errors in my ways. I was merely mirroring the behaviors I grew up with. This put things into a new perspective.

Really enjoyed this!
Love Brene' Brown her research and presentation!.
I think this is a book that every parent should read. It's only two hours long yet so much insight and advice. She covers a lot of topics that my husband and I have had discussions over raising our children. I will be listening to this again, this time with my husband!
