Publisher's summary

A call for every Christian to move from shallow living to deep faith.

In The Dangers of a Shallow Faith, renowned theologian A. W. Tozer warns believers in Christ against the great danger of spiritual lethargy. He urges Christians to be aware of the times in which they live and to recognize how attempting to live a life for God on autopilot will actually undermine their faith. For Tozer, the risks are so significant that "breaking out from the tyranny of spiritual lethargy - whatever the cost - should be the number-one priority of every Christian".

In this compilation, followers of Christ will discover anew the importance of standing boldly against spiritual and moral slumber. They will also see the importance of remaining awake in the face of constant temptation and distraction. Discover the spiritual awakening and change the Holy Spirit can bring to your life as you surrender completely to God and walk in a deeper faith!

Spot on

So true, direct, realistic description of how our lives play out and what we can do to stay close to God. Tozer spells out exactly the way to persevere.

So relevant for out time...

listened to A W Tozer on YouTube for the first time and loved the message, full of straight forward truth yet non of the accusatory undertone that one sometimes feels listening to other preachers. Chose this book to try from the list and loved it. Highly recommend to a modern day Christian who is not content with their spiritual condition...

Compelled to mature in Christ

I like the simplicity in which he approaches the concept of shallow faith and applications he gives to move from shallow to deeper faith.

A.W. Tower and Faith matters.

After reading or listening to many of books by Mr. Tower, I was pleasantly surprised by the tone and content of this book. As a Christian for about 35 years or more, this book provided fresh insight into many different areas, many of which I assumed that I understood quite well.
This book was a great surprise to me and added clarity to the topics covered within.
