I wrote earlier that I let my subscription to Car Talk lapse because it was not burnable to CD. Well, that has changed. Now, I can burn the shows to a CD so I can listen in the car. Not only that, but the "commercials" during the breaks (you know, those public service announcements and ads for upcoming NPR shows) are removed.
I love the new way Car Talk is done. The newest show is always available on Monday for me to get. I don't have to listen to "commercials". I can burn it to CD. Can life get any better?
Way to go, Audible! Oh, and you too, Tom and Ray.

Great couple of goof ball brothers! Very amusing and comedic, and also serious in their manners to solve everyday auto mechanic issues. It's amazing to hear their knowledge, and for the weekend mechanic, many times the substance can be taken back to your own garage. Weekly puzzlers keep you itching for the next issue to find out the answer! Also look forward to the 'Stump-the-chump' segment to see if they've solved a past mechanical puzzler from a caller.
Even if your not mechanicly inclined or intrigued, this is definitly a program to keep all ages in stitches!

tom and ray are so fun and hilarious to listen to. they play with words and don't take everything they and others say very seriously, except when trying to help callers solving problems or suggestions on everything related to cars. their jokes are always cheering me up. there's so much road rage and stuff going on that i wished more people would listen in and think like the magliozzi brothers. i hope they continue this show for a long time...

These guys have been putting a smile on my face for over 3 years. They really host a great show. Don't miss this.

They do know their stuff, and they can be funny, but after 18 months, the jokes are old, and I am always amused that anyone would telephone when their car needs repairs rather than fix it. Unusual (female) name spelling, pretending not to remember each week what the puzzler is.... it's just not funny enough. If it was on the radio I might listen, but I am no going to pay for it any longer. Pikov Andropv is funny the first 10 times but not the second 100....
