Mind and Heart Opening
I reluctantly joined a study group of this book at the Center for Spiritual Living near me. I’m pleasantly surprised how much I got out listening to the book. (So much more lively than reading it.). Jones’s 10 rules make sense and are practical yet daring. And it’s given me a lot of food for thought on a saying that’s not in the book “Living well is the best revenge.” What I didn’t like about the book were the endless Thoreau and Emerson quotes. This subtly undermined the claim that abundance is for everyone.

Read this book! Like The Art of Uncertainty, this new book from master teacher, Dennis Merritt Jones, provides life changing tools to guide you into living the abundant life. IT is a charming and wise book filled with parables, stories, and insightful writing drawn from decades of life experience as a practitioner and teacher of spirituality. DMJ distills wisdom, ancient and modern and shares it in a way that provides a “yellow brick road” towards living a rich and meaningful life. This is a book to keep by your bedside and make part of your daily spiritual practice.
