Publisher's Summary

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is the book to end entitlement. It is time to find out what your values are. It is time for you to take responsibility for your own problems.

It isn't up to anyone else to solve your problems. Stop making excuses, and accept that your life is what you have made it to be. It shows you the dangers of feeling entitled.

It's filled with real examples of how to decide what is important to you. It is about learning who you are and for what you stand.

It isn't about blowing off life to float around the universe. When you don't give a f--k about anything, you take away your ability to care about anything.

It is time to change your life.

This audiobook includes:

  • A chapter-by-chapter summary of the original book
  • Personal stories from the author

works best

This author is my spirit idol. I am one of these people and I was considering buying the full book but didn't want to waste the money if it was stuff I already knew. I think the author and I could be BFFs we think so similarly.

An ideal book for both beginners and experienced people. Because here it is well described the importance of each step, as well as what will be if treated lightly.

I greatly enjoyed the book and his philosophy. An interesting and worthwhile read, though at times he did seem to contradict himself.

Great Summary.

This book opens up your brain and airs it out, it undoes some of those knots we have really been working on getting good and tight in civilized society.

Most Inspirational and Motivational Quotes .

It's an easy read that feels more like a conversation than a treatise on nihilism. At times some of the story-telling goes on a bit longer, and sometimes it feels like there's a little filler.

Excellent discussion.

The premise of the book is to look to the things that really matter in life and work on that. That means sometimes taking a hard look inside to see what trivial things we care about, and what mistakes we have made that must be changed.

Remarkable.

This book is beyond amazing. Personally I felt it started a little skewed to the negative, but thought-provoking enough to continue. By the second third it was very intriguing.
