The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life by Mark Manson| Book Summary | Readtrepreneur

Disclaimer: This is NOT the original book. If you're looking for the original book, you can find it on Audible or Amazon. This summary is wholly written and published by readtrepreneur.com It is not affiliated with the original author in any way.

Many of us are bombarded by society's standards, telling us who we should be, and what we should be like.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck teaches us how to let go of things that do not define nor matter to us, and only give a "f*ck" about the things that truly matter, which will make us happy individuals in the long run.

"Maturity is what happens when one learns to only give a f*ck about what's truly f*ckworthy." - Mark Manson

Many a times, we are hesitant to reject requests from others and often end up in a situation that we never wanted to be in the first place, helping other people at the expense of ourselves. The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck reminds us that we all have choices, and we must choose what we want to care about.

Death is inevitable and our time on earth is limited. We choose how we want to spend it; on f*ckworthy or non-f*ckworthy things. Gain a totally unique perspective as you learn to live a fulfilling life you will enjoy.

Appriciated..!

Actually, I appreciate this sound and it encourages me when I am having a harsh day. This helped me to take a look at my own esteems and ordinary conduct from another point of view, other than it is elegantly composed. I would suggest it to any person who is occupied with self development.Makes you reconsider what truly matters to you in this life.

The sense of superiority will never make you feel happy. That’s one of the valued quotations I’ve picked up as I listened to this audio piece. I would never want to be like an “entitled person”. I’m glad that I was able to ponder on it and the ways the book has suggested will definitely be valued.

Not the book

Wasted a credit on this thinking it was the actual book when in fact it is a summary. Not a great summary and sounds like it was read by a robot.

Some pearls of wisdom.

You will get some pearls of wisdom out of this book. I have differing opinions on suffering, obviously the author has never considered state like learned helplessness, physical and psychology abuse, hubius, torture and thought reform, or even experienced something like a concentration camp. Furthermore, I have a strong dislike for Freud's pain and pleasure principle, and psychosomatic psychology. However, if you want study a master at not giving a duck then I suggest you read Epictetus, Albert Elis, and Diogenes.

There’s so much knowledge on this summary audio book. I want to stop being an idiot and stop being swayed by Social Medias as I used to be. I’ve finally come to realize that those media messages are really manipulative.

This book got me thinking.

I found the discussion on Illusion of happiness versus real happiness really worthwhile. Oftentimes, I’m guilty of trying myself to be happy by shopping or travelling or even drinking. This book got me thinking. Finding solutions to our struggles is the first step in finding joy.

accurate summary

This summary book has helped me fathom the meaning of the book, The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck. Stumbled upon good piece of advises from an author who knows exactly how to deal with people who are too abusive and manipulative. Learning to utter the word: NO may be too hard to do especially when we are already in the situation, but after taking the time to digest this summary book, I gained the wisdom on how to do it without hesitation.
