Tell Me More: Stories About the 12 Hardest Things I’m Learning to Say, by Kelly Corrigan | Book summary | Abbey Beathan

(Disclaimer: This is NOT the original book. If you’re looking for the original book, it is available from Amazon and Audible.)

Twelve stories about the most powerful phrases one could ever say and their respective meanings.

Tell Me More talks about Kelly Corrigan’s philosophical journey to cope with phrases that are capable of turning the wheel of life. She wrestles with the fierce “I don’t know” that translates into uncertainty, not knowing if something is going to turn out the way she expected. And subsequently in “Tell Me More”, she talks about the importance of listening and how she learned this valuable lesson. That’s just two out of 12, and each of them packs a very interesting life lesson.

(Note: This summary is wholly authored and published by Abbey Beathan. It is not affiliated with the original author in any way)

“Accepting things as they are is difficult. A lot of people go to war with reality.” (Kelly Corrigan)

Embarking this journey with Kelly Corrigan about questioning everything will give you a deeper look into your life and how everyone reacts depending on your actions.

Discover how strong the words you casually say are, and see how to use their power to benefit you.

P.S. Tell Me More is an extremely interesting work that will help you say the right words at exactly the right moment to change everything!

Factual and entertaining

While there is nothing particularly new or profound about this book, it is an engaging, entertaining, and fun read, with a few more penetrating messages along the way.

I am happy with the book

she makes you feel more connected to humanity as a whole. I was left, at least temporarily, feeling softer, more tender, more open, and more vulnerable than I am accustomed to feeling. I think that's a good thing.

With gratitude...

Kelly Corrigan's writing stands out for being clear, refreshingly so. Even though events in her life are recounted, I found myself accessing my own life events in a similar way while in the book. Somehow this felt to me like a guided practice.

I knew I'd love it and I was right

“Learn to say no. And when you do, don’t complain and don’t explain. Every excuse you make is like an invitation to ask you again in a different way.”My favorite authors can ascribe words to that phenomenon, and Kelly Corrigan is one of them.

Self help book

I would not really have considered this a self help book until I realized that it had done more for me than most of the people in my life. I would like to take the time to thank the author for that.
