There are tips on how to defeat cravings, how to travel without taking the customary two steps back, and of course a selection of recipes to help bolster your sugar defense. The book even provides sound advice on management of the social burdens that can often come with dieting, like the seemingly impossible declination of dessert at your friend’s dinner party.
I'm a huge breakfast fan so for me, the breakfast recipes turned out to be amazing! Quick and easy frittatas, baked eggs with turkey bacon and the breakfast salmon are my favorites. And don't think that by cutting out the sugar desserts are going to suffer. No way! The baked apples are so delicious and pair that with the sugar free cocoa and you will be in heaven!
This book is extremely helpful! Sugar Detox for Beginners really takes you through the steps of first understanding how we have become addicted to sugar, the harmful effects both short term and long from that addiction, and best yet, outlines specifically the steps to beating that addiction, cutting sugar out of your diet without sacrificing flavorful foods that are healthy for you and that you will actually want to eat.
I love this. I won't have to think too hard about what to eat as I ease off of sugar - I'll just look through this book. What a fantastic resource.
This is a good basic and fairly comprehensive book for people who are starting to get seriously into nutrition. It breaks down into two parts, why sugar is bad for you and what to eat instead.
