By simply rewiring your brain to accept new habits, you can achieve such a life. You're not alone. Millions of people struggle with habits that they don't think are possible to break. For each of those people there is a way to break the bad habit. As confusing and frustrating as a habit may seem, there really is a simple explanation for them. Your brain is a very interesting muscle, and just like the rest of your muscles it can be strengthened and that's what makes changing habits possible. Almost everybody in the world makes a New Year's resolution, but less than half are able to stick with them. In this book we will explore the problems with resolutions and why they don't work for everybody. A few of the other things you will learn in this book are:

  • What causes a habit?
  • The perks of having an accountability partner

  • Environmental triggers
  • How to start a new habit

All of that and more can be learned in this book. By the end of the book you will have learned enough tips and tricks to help you to achieve the life that you deserve. Remember that this is not a cure all. Everybody is different, so what works for one person may not work for another. Nothing is impossible if you know a good way to achieve it.

Great introduction to habits.

Great introduction to habits.

This is a Non-Fiction title.
Length: 1 hr and 9 mins
It’s a great introduction to habits, and suggestions on how to break them.

♥ Story ♥
This title is more of an introduction than it is a full length in-depth instructions. Its short and to the point with little fluff, so worth it if you want the basics.

I give it props for pointing out the difference between what is a habit and what might be a more complex condition that one might need to seek professional help for.

♥ Author ♥
John S. Lawson is new to the market, with only a handful of titles to his name and all of which published this year. This title was a good collection of information so I would be interested in his other titles.
John has 03 titles listed on Audible.

♥ Narrator(s) ♥
Harry Roger Williams III does excellent narration for this Non-Fiction title. He speak very clearly and with authority of subject. I would of thought him the writer.
Harry has 59 titles listed on Audible. All of which are Non-Fiction.

Great Suggestions For Making Changes

Success and Luck was a great listen. It was chock full of excellent suggestions for habit-breaking and overall changing bad habits into good ones. The book breaks it down in KISS (keep it simple stupid) terms. It went over triggers that set off our bad habits and ways of tricking the brain into changing. It also discusses stress and how to manage it with meditation. It works if you apply it.

Harry Roger Williams lll does a terrific job narrating this audiobook. He speaks in an upbeat way. He's clear and easy to understand. Overall, I'd recommend this audiobook for good results.

Outstanding Self-Help Book

This book reminds me of one of my favorite sayings of all time: The harder you work, the luckier you get.

This is a fantastic book for creating basic habits that can make you more successful by virtue of having the discipline it takes to get what you need done. Written in a friendly, me-to-you style, the explanation of new behaviors that will help you achieve your goals is easy to understand and fun to listen to. Narrator Harry Roger Williams III has a friendly yet authoritative way of reading that gives me confidence in what he is saying.

This book was totally worth listening to over and over again in order to reinforce the habit s and make them stick.

Transform to a New You

**I received this audio book for free from Audiobook Boom and the narrator for a honest review.**

Harry Williams does an outstanding job at being clear and encouraging throughout the book. I can really see the appeal to listening to these types of audio books for self transformation. I believe the key at a successful audio book of this type however is to not be repetitive and have a great narrator. I didn't feel as though John Lawson repeated himself to much throughout the book and as I've already stated Williams did a fantastic job, so over all if there is something that you would like to try and get over and learn new ways to achieving that goal, why not to an hour our of your day and listen!

Tips for breaking and making habits

I liked this book and am going to buy the ebook so I can go back over the tips and ideas more easily.

It is a brief book which makes it easier to get through and there are lots of ideas in there I want to look further into, but this has given me a bunch of things to use right now.

There is a lot of claims and statements made without references, I would prefer a list of references to the scientific studies, say in a pdf, to check for myself, but none seem unlikely or extraordinary and so I will just see if his tips work for me.

Unfortunately the one downside for me was the narrator. While certainly not the worst I've ever heard and I think with practice could be quite good, his narration speed is too fast, the words he chooses to emphasise and when he pauses are frequently not the most appropriate and he makes it sounds a bit like he is trying to sell me something the whole time.
