Publisher's summary

If looking at today's headlines makes you wonder about the fate of our planet, here is some news that may surprise you: from an evolutionary standpoint, we are exactly where we need to be. According to eminent biologist Bruce H. Lipton and political and cultural commentator Steve Bhaerman, we are surrounded by the proof that we are poised to take an incredible step forward in the growth of our species. On Spontaneous Evolution, you are invited to participate in an eye-opening examination of science and history - one that leads to a profound vision of the next "holistic" stage of human civilization. Join these two pioneers as they explore:

  • The three perennial questions any belief system needs to address, and why the answers have changed throughout history
  • The four "Myth-Perceptions of the Apocalypse": the unexamined pillars that support modern thought, and why each one of them is ready to crumble
  • Why the blueprint for a brighter future is literally inside you - encoded into each of your trillions of cells
  • What you can do to help usher in the greatest cultural shift since the Copernican revolution
  • Many of the ideas and institutions that define our culture today are breaking down - and that's a good thing, say Lipton and Bhaerman. this is a necessary part of the natural process of clearing out what no longer serves us to make room for a new way of being that will carry us into the next age. Spontaneous Evolution is an insightful, playful, and ultimately hopeful look at the unfolding destiny of our species - and how you can play an active role as a co-creator of the world to come.

    Provocative and engaging

This was an engaging listening experience, in part because the material itself was a stimulating mix of quantum physics, evolutionary theory, spirituality and human potential - and in part because Lipton and Bhaerman speak to the listener (as in an interesting lecture or seminar) instead of reading from a text, which can often be a bit more wooden and dry. I listened to this on an eight hour solo car trip and the miles and hours flew by.

    Fantastic.

A great listen. Start with Bruce Lipton's two earlier books though. After listening to these three books you really start to think about your own interaction with other people. It can help your life and give you perspective.

Bruce and Steve make a great team

We have been following both Bruce and Steve for awhile and are glad they got together. Bruce makes the content easy to understand and Steve makes it even more enjoyable to listen to. If you haven't heard about these two men or listened to them explain stuff, you are definitely in for a new treat. Both are great speakers and know their subjects well. And we thought we could never become a brain surgeon, HAH! Look at us now!

Hope for the future of the human race!

Would you listen to Spontaneous Evolution again? Why?

If ever you wanted an articulate, thoughtful and yes- science-based explanation for where we we're going and where we've been, this is the listen for you. The authors use a combination of story-stelling, scientific data, and known historical information to answer the three primary questions for the ages: How did we get here? Why are we here? What are we to do now (what's our purpose for being on this planet)?

Beautifully told and worth the time to expand your mind and offer hope for how we can evolve (should we choose to) as a human race.

    Fantastic, inspiring, provocative, Great Book

What did you love best about Spontaneous Evolution?

Okay I admit it I am a Bruce Lipton fan. I enjoy having a book that makes me question and think. Once again Lipton comes though. I love this book and you will be happy if you read or listen to it.

What other book might you compare Spontaneous Evolution to and why?

All of Bruce Lipton's book have the same feel. His writing is very consistent. The complex theories, concepts, and ideas are presented logically, clearly, and in a very easy to understand conversational tone.

What does Bruce Lipton and Steve Bhaerman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love listening to Steve Bhaerman voice. I feel that I receive deeper meaning listening while I am working.

    Any additional comments?

    Hoped for more...

I heard Steve Bhaerman's comedy routine here in Woodstock, NY. He was very funny and entertaining, but he went on too long and I finally lost interest. The same with the book, although it bored me quite quickly, probably after a few pages. I had really hoped for more insight from Bruce Lipton. And their voices are hard to listen to. Too bad.

    Quite a Revelation

Love all parts of it and both narrators.
It exceeded my expectations in many ways except I was expecting to learn how to reprogram the subconscious mind as well. Is there a book on this topic?
    Thank you Bruce Lipton!

I highly recommend all 4 Bruce Lipton’s books

Bruce Lipton’s books (not only this one but the three other from him) have been the most meaningful I have read in 2019.
This content has been the glue connecting many pieces of knowledge and History in my head about Biology, Spirituality and Quantum Physics.
    Great great books!
