Publisher's summary

Do you feel like you are talking and talking, and your partner is never listening?

Do you feel like you keep saying the same thing over and over again?

Does your partner make promises, only to break or betray your trust repeatedly?

Is your partner controlling or just plain mean?

Have you read every relationship book out there, practiced your communication skills, and still feel unheard or neglected?

Are you done with second chances?

Should you stay or should you go?

We live in a world of romance and rescue - where everyone believes love will conquer all, and the more we put up with, the more loving we are being. It doesn't work that way. Sometimes we choose mean people, and before long we are in so deep, we don't know whether we are coming or going. One day you want to fight harder, and the next day you are ready to pack it in, and the next day you want to fight harder.

Should I Stay or Should I Go? is a survival manual, a guidebook, and a shot of reality. Some people will never change, and kissing frogs is the stuff of fairy tales, not real life. The Beast never turns out to be a nice guy (or gal). This is a book that breaks down what mean people do to us, how they do it, and what we can do to survive.

Insightful and Eye Opening

This book is a very easy read (listen) and very easy to understand and follow. If you're someone who is in, or has been in a relationship with a Narcissist, this is a breath of fresh air and a confirmation that the survivors of these relationships aren't really crazy...like they make us feel. The fact she tells you that it's a personality disorder helps soften my heart (not that I want to date another narcissist ever!) That is a fact, and that's the bottom line...so it helps to know it's best to stay away from these individuals or keep them at a safe distance.

Thank You,Thank You, Thank You...

I enjoyed this audiobook immensely. Dr. Ramani addressed a wide range of coping skills in many different situations in ways that help victims of pathological narcissists regain their power and live life as stress-free as possible under the circumstances. The book is quite long but covers a lot of critical, narcissistic real estate required for emotional self-defense. Virtually everything she says applies to situations in my life. Thanks to this gifted psychologist, I, ironically, feel quite comfortable around narcs since I now know what to expect from them and how to respond to or work around them.

TOTAL LIFE CHANGING!

This book is what everyone needs. It is written in such a simple direct way that it is very easy to understand. She nailed every single thing she said there. Amazing how we dont understand anything before reading it. She is providing direct guidance on what to do it you decide to stay and what to do if you decide to leave. The first 50 pages I got goosebumps and anxiety as it was taking me back to remember my old days, But that is part of this, facing your reality to know how to change it… Amazed by her knowledge and how she saved me from doing this again. Thank You from the bottom of my heart to Dr Ramani Durvasula and to one of my very best friends Tatiana for giving this book to me. God has a way to show you your path.

It was a great book to listen to

This is my first book on audiobooks about this topic. I heard it completely in just 2 days. I learned so much about how to identify a narcissist and the symptoms this one leave you with. It was great in my opinion.
