The event Advice Book

I really liked this book for the feeling that I was receiving advice from a really good friend. The author had a way of making me feel comfortable while telling me in a stern but friendly voice of how I can get my life on track. A true friend that told me what I needed to here and the steps that I could take to make that happen. I highly recommend this book as an aid to helping you achieve some "Self Discipline".

Great Book! Sometimes I lack motivation and for sure I really needed this book. I am not disappointed because I got more than what I needed. The book is well structured which makes it a great read. I feel like I have become more productive than I was before. The tips in this book have helped in boosting my energy. This book is a must for those who need or want to Achieve anything. What I liked most is the way you can use your body language. The author has written the book perfectly. I highly recommend this book.

This book has gained me more knowledge on how to cope up with my burnt out days. Sometimes our body and mind are just tired of the everyday tasks that we do, but with the help and motivational things that was written on this book has made an impact for me to strengthen out my body and mind. This would really be helpful to anyone.

Good points for a Healthy Mind and Body

This book was very informative and had lots of good points and tips. I really liked the chapters that explained how a positive mindset and having a positive body language can help to improve your overall healthy outlook on life. This book helps give insight into having a healthy positive inside as well as outside to your well being. It's also a good refresher for those of us who know what to do but need a little push.

Self Discipline

Very straightforward advice without a lot of fluff and hard to grasp concepts. This is a book that I will read over and over again. I will commit it to memory if I can. A direct and concise guide to one of the most fundamental and necessary qualities for success. An easy read with usable content. It starts by highlighting the keys to self-discipline. Then it discusses exercise, dieting and sleep. And it concludes with an important reminder that self-discipline needs to go hand-in-hand with self-compassion.

Important advice

The key to self-discipline is self-discipline. There are a lot of good books out there on how to develop self-discipline in general. Martin's book is so important as he describes how to install self-discipline on an everyday basis. I really enjoyed the practical application and exercises throughout the book.While some things may come across as relatively common sense they provided an "ah ha" moment for me. If you are looking to improve your self-discipline and mental toughness I'm sure you will get something, if not several things, from this book.

Easy and helpful.

The key to self-discipline is DAILY self-discipline. There are a lot of good books out there on how to develop self-discipline in general. Martin's book is so important as he describes how to install self-discipline on an everyday basis. I enjoyed this book - although it was brief, it was packed with suggestions on how to change your daily habits to upgrade your life. An easy, beneficial listening.

How to make the change

I am retired military, special operations type, and have studied and applied self discipline to many areas of my life. What I like most about this book is the author doesn't waste time typical "rah-rah you can do it fluff", he gets right to the point with specific ways to increase your self discipline in your daily life. He gives you points of research to validate his points and is a straight shooter telling you it takes work. He could give many more examples and add pages to the book, but the concepts are applicable to any are you want to improve. This book helped me realize the source of my successes and failures. I was depending on situational vs. committed daily self-discipline.

Satisfyingly informational.

It is always the sign of a good book if you repeat what you have learnt to everyday conversations and these are such simple tips and so well explained that i am quoting it to everyone! This is how you write a self help book: few words maximum meaning. Thank you Martin! Very good points... to be honest this is what u have been looking for for years without realising it! I feel reassured I am on the right path and that I know how to improve!

It helped me a lot!

This was a really good book. It has helped me improve multiple areas in my life such as my focus and my ability to stick to certain task. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in improving themselves Great read! Might seem like obvious facts at times, but helps to read them and put your life in persoective. A book about motivation, confidence and productivity. A very good reference in exceeding goals and be on the top of the game. I wanted to improve my self-discipline and got this book.This book has lots of tips to improve our self-discipline and its a good read.
While I was reading this book, I prepared an action plan to achieve my goals and I’m going to try techniques mentioned in this book.

The trick is to build slowly and not go all at once. This creates positive incomes in a rather painless way. This is a basic idea or lesson learned from the book. And I have to say I agree completely.

Insightful

Determining the course of our lives, careers, and goals is an incredibly daunting task that few have mastered, but we can all clearly recognize the individuals in our lives and the world at large who have had success in achieving their goals.
