Publisher's summary

You could be the target of a spell or curse and not even know it! All people, witches or not, are susceptible to these attacks. The difference: witches and magicians can do something about it. Now you can too. Protection & Reversal Magick is a complete how-to manual on preventing, defending, and reversing magickal attacks of any kind.

You will learn to:

  • Set up early-warning systems
  • Appease angry spirits through offerings
  • Perform daily banishings and make amulets that will prevent most attacks
  • Make magickal "decoys" to absorb attacks against you
  • Summon guardian spirits or gods for help
  • Bind, confuse, or expel a persistent enemy who will not leave you be

These techniques aren't just for Wiccans either, but for ceremonial magicians, rootdoctors, witches, and anyone else who puts magick to a practical use. Like the cunning men and women of old, now you can defend yourself and your loved ones against even the strongest attacks!

not an occult book

Not an Occult book, uses too much Christianity. It goes against daemons. Don't waste your money.

Who chose this narrator?!

Wow... I honestly just couldn’t finish this. I’m not usually so critical, but man I hope this narrator has a back-up job, because they’re not that great at this one. I seriously wonder who chose this guy, and why they wanted to hurt us.

technically would give 3.5 to 4 stars overall

I just want to point out, unbiased wise, all information books (like this one) will have nuggets of knowledge that is actual sprinkled around within. its the weaving through the book as a whole to find said nuggets of information that is the trick. with that being said I just have two things to point out with this book;
1: (in one of the earlier chapters (3 I think, it states with a cleansing bath as the subject) they stated a teaspoon of ammonia to 4 gallons of water.... Do. NOT. bathe. in. ammonia. it is toxic, regardless of "the amount" of substance to water ratio. it's something thats great for cleaning surfaces, other things to sterilize. pools ect. but NOT good for human/animal skin. it would be too potent and would be soaking through your skin, it's toxic- not to mention if it got into your below the belt regions; that's bad.
2; (I believe stated around chapter 5 while getting into the goetia, spirit guides); regarding the triangle thing; please, for the love of your god or patron/matron, do NOT evoke/summon the spirit/any entity you wish to have a good relationship with into a triangle. this is binding in the bad way. it's the equivalent of a person walking into a room to meet a potential friend and getting tackled to a wall, pinned, handcuffed then choke/gaged before you even get to introduce yourself. it's not friendly/good/nice in any means and is viewed as flat out rude to most entities/demons/daemons/spirits. please reconsider.
other than that, there are some interresting historical notes, other informations in here that are decent overall.
like anything, take it with a grain of salt and gather more information than just one book or source for knowledge. :)

Informative, not for the beginner

This is a great reference book. It can be used as a template for making your own petitions to your chosen Deity. Eye opening and inspiring, Jason Miller includes references to many religions to encourage study on protection and the craft in general.

Very useful

We are just beginning to get into focused practice. This has been wonderfully helpful in doing so. My own beginning focus has been protection magick, which is obviously related, and at the time of deciding to be more serious about the speed at which I was learning I was having issues with a parasite of sorts. I did deal with it before listening to this book, but it has still been invaluable in figuring out how to prevent this again as a beginner. The clearness of the reading and instructions provided was also useful and reassuring in getting back on track and refocus on action from the feeling of disorientation.

Clear smart balanced magical defense guidance

I only recently discovered Jason Miller.
I love that he pulls from different paths and actually tests the work guidance he offers before sharing it... great magic Tech!

Decent Book

This book is fairly decent, my only complaint is that the author mentions Hoodoo and Voodoo practices but does not disclose if those are closed practices or not. There are lots of recipes in here that I wish were apart of the extra pdf, but over all a fairly good book, especially is you work with Hekate

A game changer for magickal practitioners...

This turned out to be an outstanding read. I'm actually glad to have had this one added to my knowledge base. I have some ideas to take action on based around these concepts. I also loved the eclectic nature of the text. It for sure, if used with wisdom, makes you a well-rounded practitioner with tools that take your practice to the next level.

great book here

this book is filled with great information and as it states in the beginning it is not aimed at beginners to the witch realm. unfortunately, the item is dragged down by a dreadful narrator. because of this you'll probably only be able to stomach the publication for short bursts.
