LIFE-CHANGING FOR A 72 YR OLD MOM WHO HAS ADHD

SIMPLE WORDS CANNOT CONVEY MY APPRECIATION OF THIS BOOK. AS A MOTHER OF 3 ADULT DAUGHTERS MY GOAL IN THIS PAST YEAR HAS BEEN TO DOWN-SIZE THE 3 BEDROOM HOUSE THAT I CURRENTLY INHABIT. MY MAIN MOTIVATION IS LEAVING AS LITTLE AS POSSIBLE FOR MY 3 GIRLS TO DEAL WITH AFTER MY SPIRIT LEAVES THE BROKEN "CHASSIS" THAT IS THIS BODY. I SO RELATE TO THE ENVIRONMENTAL "NOISE", THE SPINNING OF WHEELS WITH NO TRACTION, THE WONDERING OF WHAT GOT DONE THOUGH I WAS BUSY AS MY BODY WOULD ALLOW THAT DAY, THE FEELINGS OF FAILURE WHICH ALLOWS ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION TO CREEP IN BECAUSE OF THINGS LEFT UNDONE. THOUGH I DO NOT CONSIDER MYSELF RELIGIOUS, THIS BOOK WILL BECOME MY "BIBLE" BECAUSE IT OFFERS THE GUIDANCE I DESPARATELY NEED! IT WAS LISTENED TO ON AUDIBLE IN ONE SITTING. NO TEXT MESSAGES INTERFERED AS THIS ADHD BRAIN REMAINED FOCUSED ON THE PERFECT TOOLS AND GUIDANCE FOUND IN THIS BOOK (BIBLE)! THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES, TIMES A MILLION! I PLAN ON SHARING THIS GEM WITH MY OTHER PROCRASTINATING FRIENDS!

I'm aware of procrastination now. Nap time?

My takeaway is that procrastination exists and much of it is a lack of individual awareness. This has definitely been a valuable listening experience for me. If only I can get started on...
