"yes, good info to be aware of"

I do think this has good info about the subject. Little depressing subject, but I learned a little from it. If you need to or wish to become a bit more aware of people that may be trying to pull the wool over your eyes, or if they are just embellishing a little, this book has good info on how people present their stories and what to keep an eye out for. Had to read it, just a little depressed on the subject. If you choose to be more aware, spend the credit on this one.

    "Excellent book!"

This is a great book because it gets right to the point in addressing signals behind lies. I've read other books from the same author and they are all great. This is the kind of book you listen to 2 or 3 times to really get all of the good points it makes. I definetely recommend it.

    "Not my cup of tea"

I really liked D. liebermans "Setting Boundaries with Difficult People: A Survival Guide for People Pleasers", but this audiobook Im sorry to say I really couldt get through.

The signs of deception presented in the book could also be signs of insecurity, the rest were somewhat trivial to me. The techniques for getting people to come clean, were manipulation (until I stopped the listening 1h 20m into the book). To me manipulation (eg making others believe that you approve, respect or even appreciate a dishonest act, was all to much for me. I find an honest-seeking-to-listen-and-understand approach must more effective and rewarding.

    "Take in some good techniques"
Is there anything you would change about this book?

Yes I would change this book to attempt to be more engaging by the author and the reader. The book Spy the Lie is fantastic and it is about finding interview techniques that work and are on a systematic approach. This book has techniques throughout that are good but the dryness of the book make it difficult to listen to and absorb even though this book is relatively short.

If you’ve listened to books by David J. Lieberman before, how does this one compare?

    No I haven't.

Would you be willing to try another one of uncredited’s performances?

I am sure that I would try it when they are on sale. I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase them if the caliber of the book is not going to reach my expectations and be worth my time. These short reads can be worthwhile though.

Did Never Be Lied to Again inspire you to do anything?

Well I listened to it a few times to get as much I could out of the book. I wouldn't say it was moving and I'm sure if I had a spouse that was cheating on me I would be listening more attentively to particular parts of this book. I also evaluated some of my own responses to questions that are asked of me to see how I would normally respond.
