Much too brief for a complex topic

Really just an outline. No depth, no how-tos. Just some basic concepts. Nothing new. I'm not sure it would even be useful to a newbie to the minimalist concept. Narrator was fine.

very endearing and fulfilling

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, I will definitely recommend this to a friend, because this audiobook basically opened my mind about living a simple life and I want to share the tips to my friends so they will be enlightened too.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Minimalist?

I believe, the most memorable part of this audiobook of Sam Siv is how he itemized the simple steps on how to declutter and how to embrace the Less is More lifestyle.

Have you listened to any of Gayle Ambrielle Loflin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

This is my first time listening to Gayle Ambrielle Loflin and I am impressed with the clarity of her diction.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Before I learned about living in a minimalist way, I realized I was among those who had the wrong perception about being happy if we have everything in our grasps. THis audiobook demonstrated that a simple life and living in a minimalist way can be fulfilling and endearing, too.

I learned a lot of great techniques to simplify my life even more, thanks to this audio-book, and I have noticed an increase in my happiness levels as well. This is definitely a great guide to minimalism and I highly recommend it.

Minimalist - broken down

If you could sum up Minimalist in three words, what would they be?

simple, clutter-free, clean

What did you like best about this story?

I always thought I was a minimalist. This story showed how I have a clutter free house but still have clutter in my life. It put everything in perspective.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite part was putting the minimalism aspect to work in your life - not just in your décor.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

How to live as a minimalist but get the maximum out of life - that message is what moved me the most from this book.

Good info...

Very basic...I was hoping for something more innovative. All these guidelines would generally be understood by anyone by age 25.

Just The Basics

Good. Just the basics. Just acknowledgement of the condition. I want to delve more into the actions involved.

Simply Less Is Joy

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I got the few major ideas, actions, beliefs, and increased my cash flow in less than an hour. The changing view from here is exciting. Freedom to passionately enjoy life more in a few basic moves no harder than checkers, and more meaningful than chess...or HOW TO LIVE MORE INTENSITY UNENCUMBERED BY HANGUPS THAT ACCUMULATE AND CLUTTER YOUR SPACE.

Who was your favorite character and why?

MY BEST SELF. ACTUALLY MY ZEN MAN.

What does Gayle Ambrielle Loflin bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

CLEAR EMPHASIS ON WHAT IS VALUABLE.

What insight do you think you’ll apply from Minimalist?

DECLUTTER AND STOP CRAZY SPENDING. SAVE MORE CASH.

Any additional comments?

I GOT MORE FROM THIS 33 MINUTE BOOK THAN FROM THE 4 HOUR ONE.
