Your faith is a long-distance run, Pastor John Van Pay tells us: an everyday endeavor to follow Jesus that will sometimes feel impossible, even painful. Faith is not always a comfort; it is often demanding. Living your faith means never giving up, but always surrendering - surrendering to Jesus Christ and the great purpose of God.
To give us strength, Van Pay retells the inspirational stories of 20 believers in the Bible who persisted, endured, and thrived in their faith by applying the fundamental principles of endurance running to the single most important journey - the journey to loving and following God.
This is a great audiobook and it will challenge you to never ever quit in your faith race.. I relate to the stories shared. A great addition to your collection of my self help books.

I really enjoyed the interwoven stories as they illustrated the need to train for our Christian journey (marathon). One of the highlights and a great message is to surround yourself with other believers and John demonstrates this beautifully with stories of friends and family.
