In this straightforward handbook, he gives you the tools and advice you need to demolish the slag weighing you down and become the truly unf*cked version of yourself. "Wake up to the miracle you are," he directs. "Here's what you've forgotten: You're a f*cking miracle of being." It isn't other people that are standing in your way; it isn't even your circumstances that are blocking your ability to thrive. It's yourself and the negative self-talk you keep telling yourself.
Put a stop to self-sabotage and overcome your fears so that you can gain the confidence you need to reach your goals and become your own best friend. The Self-Love Experiment rectifies this problem. Whether you want to achieve weight loss, land your dream job, find your soul mate, or get out of debt, it all comes back to self-love and accepting yourself first.

Ordinarily when we read a title or headline “The Nature of Fear”, we don’t move into a space of love – but instead think of moments in our life when we experienced fear. Yet in this talk Osho describes love as the most potent remedy to fear as he takes us on a journey through the multidimensional layers of love, the antidote of antidotes.
One of the best-selling self-help books of all time, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind has helped millions around the world achieve remarkable success, simply by changing the way they think. Dr. Murphy's mind-focusing techniques are based on a simple principle: If you believe in something without reservation and picture it in your mind, you can remove the subconscious obstacles that prevent you from achieving the results you want and your belief can become a reality.
Your thoughts are the only thing you have power over. You can take control of them and use them to build yourself up, connect with other people, and achieve success in life, or you can ignore them and continue to struggle with low self-confidence, poor productivity, and unnecessary suffering.

You're trying to get over your ex, yet you're still in touch and have ended up being his or her backup plan. Maybe you haven't left yet, but you want to and just don't know how. Maybe you're tired of doing the lather, rinse, repeat of getting back together and winding up back at square one. It's time to cut contact. The No Contact Rule is an inspiring guide to extinguishing the temptation to stay in touch or to keep engaging, helping you to reclaim your sense of self and move on to a healthier relationship.
In December of 2011, I gave a talk to an audience of scientists, Pentagon officials, politicians, and CEOs on the secret of life and how I'd figured it out the previous summer. Afterward, people came up individually and told me how much what I'd shared meant to them. This book is based on the truth I spoke about. It's something I learned from within myself, something I believed saved me. And more than that, the way I set about to do it.
This is a collection of thoughts on what I learned, what worked, what didn't. Where I succeed and importantly, where I fail daily. The truth is to love yourself with the same intensity you would use to pull yourself up if you were hanging off a cliff with your fingers. As if your life depended upon it. Once you get going, it's not hard to do. Just takes commitment and I'll share how I did it.
It's been transformative for me. I know it will be transformative for you as well.
I think it's a good book especially for people that haven't read many other books yet that go deeper into the topic. its basically a short and easy simple summary scratching the surface of a bunch of other books like Biology of Belief, the secret, E-Cubed, a new earth... etc.

not terrible, but nothing earth-shattering either. Kind of reminded me of a less-gushy version of Louise Hay's Mirror Work ("I love and appreciate myself" bla bla bla). I'm sure you'll experience something if you do it. For $3, why not?

Appreciate you sharing your experience, however in my opinion it was not for me. I think whatever you needed to tell yourself to get through worked for you but truly these basic techniques of repeating mantras will not work for everyone. God bless.

Repeat "I love myself" 2 billion times. The rest is just to boost word count.

Would definitely not pay 20 for this book, but if you need some reassurance, it's a decent read. Not sure all the hype around it, nothing he says is truly life changing, but reiteration. The idea that repetition can lead to truth. Remind yourself each day why you love yourself.

is what this book should really be titled, but luckily for the author his fake persona and influence in the industry smooth-slides his drivel into the bestsellers list.

Millenials NEED to listen to/read this book. We suffer enough. Time to heal. As a black man and a millenial, I understand all too well what it means to hate oneself. I have always equated loving oneself with narcissim. I was wrong completely. On a completely different note, I notice that the tools he explained to use are the same exact tools I've used, to quit drinking and smoking 4 years ago. The same exact tools.
The repetition works because while a drinking stoner, I would often tell myself "I hate drinking and smoking". Every single day even if I was drinking and smoking. Like Kamal said, eventually it sticks...
Thank you for this Kamal. I was stuck in a self defeating purgatory, seeking validation from everyone else all while not understanding why I was so angry and lonely. It was simply because I didn't love self. I want to love everyone else, yet I couldn't because I wasn't finished redefining myself after quitting the alcohol and the smoking. I've since pinpointed my issues with self and will be applying every single thing you've stated. Even the ones I already knew. This book will be shared along with everything I've learned. Love, Steven.

You become aware of the thoughts in your head, things that you just auto pilot, I am aware now

I am not sure why someone would give this book (essay) less than 5 stars.
I am a health coach. When I work with my clients, almost without a fail, I trace the onset of their health issues to a lack of self-love and gratitude for what they already have in their lives. While diet and lifestyle play a huge role in our health, our attitude toward ourselves can render even the best of our efforts useless.
When we transform this area of their lives, without a fail, we're able to get rid of even the incurable diseases.
Solutions to most complicated problems in our lives SHOULD BE EASY and common sense. This book fits that profile.
Thank you for writing it, Kamal!

Was very disappointed in this book.
It offered little practical advice and was very thin on real content. What little content there was, was stretched out to fill out the book.

The book doesn't give any content, context or ideas. All chapters come down to repeating the phrase 'I love myself'. It was even unbearable to try to listen to it. I find it even rude to release such a book, when there are so many useful books full of ideas, trying to give methods about how to do something or change anything. You won't find it in this book.

Love this book and already I’ve started saying I love myself as often as poss and especially when I start thinking negative thoughts. What I’ve learned quickly gets me out of a bad mood. Can’t wait to read his next book Rebirth. Highly recommend this book!
Loved it so much. Deeply inspired me to think "I can too". Thank you kamal x
In an age where knowledge is available to everyone at the click of a button, the embodiment of that knowledge is what makes the real difference. Knowledge applied and lived through experience carries the frequency of Truth and we all recognise Truth when we come across it. What makes receiving Kamal’s Truth all the more special is the heart with which it is offered.
He doesn’t say: “Go over there, it’s good”. He says: “Come over here, it’s good”.
The book offers very practical, concrete and simple tools that can be put into practice everyday to experience life in a way many have never experienced before.
A moving and inspiring testimony
I just finished and while I was righting this I thought that maybe this is a since that life is trying to tell me that it does get better so I would like thanx you even though I hair finished it I feel better cuz well u were speaking I meditated on your words and it helped me feel a bit better now its just the commitment of applying it to my life so thank you and may God bless you
Some great advice that I've been trying to implement in my life. Put in a
The narration is beautifully calming and the book tells it's story with profound simplicity. I loved it.
very enjoyable and it respects the readers time. it is to the point and i'm sure i will revisit it many times.
I hated this book and it was a struggle to listen to. Nothing about it motivated me or made me believe his 'method' works. What is his method anyway? I'm not entirely sure. Repeatedly tell yourself "I love you' and meditate? Jeez. This book was a jumbled up mess.
The author tells you to repeat "I love myself" over and over. That's it. That's the whole book. Each chapter is about 2 mins long. I really got nothing out of this and I can't see how anyone else would either. Harsh but true- save your money.

Great practical advice. I can see this working as long as you are prepared to put the work in. Many thanks 😊

I'm feeling excited for the first time in a long time to practice loving myself
I’ve read tonnes of self-help books from the greatest gurus of all time, and I dare say that this is one of the most genuine piece of work I’ve ever come across. I don’t how else to say it, but it’s just not fake. The concept sold by the author is not new, but it’s genuine. I felt it and I am reminded how very much I want to restart this process in my life. Thanks Kamal, keep on writing.
Thank you for sharing your experience. This isn't new knowledge but your frank presentation is refreshing. Simple and most useful information to integrate daily.
I have been applying it for a few weeks, and my life is getting better all the time ...it's not easy to do but it gets easier with practice to keep the mental loop going .. definitely worth a try before you deny...
A simple message with a big impact. Some of it was a bit mystic for me but he overall premise is brilliant. Well narrated
Loved listening to this amazing book. So many arh huh moments throughout listening.
Thank you for sharing 💚💜💚
short book with an incredible message. Should be listened to often and with attention. at the price, anyone can afford it
Short and sweet doesn't really do this book justice, simply amazing. So simple that it makes it great, in the way Kamal narrates it is moving!
