I can't get past the white noise in the background

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

I couldn't get past the washer/dryer/fan noise in the background of the narrator and the constant smacking of his lips and sucking on his spit between pauses in reading.

Would you be willing to try another book from Christian Chasmer? Why or why not?

Perhaps. If there was a different narrator maybe?

Why wasn't this edited?

The message is there and I could see the book being helpful. Unfortunately the quality of the narration leaves a lot to be desired. The actual reading feels rushed and the words mumbled or muffled. Regarding the recording quality : At one point I heard random laughing and talking in the background which wouldn't have been that noticeable if it hadn't clearly distracted Mr. Brumm, who then clears his throat (perhaps in an attempt to get the talkative group to be quiet?) it worked but not well...wish they had edited this.

Skip it

Terribly read. Does the reader know about punctuation? Also there really wasn't any new information. Just five mantras from other books.

Concise and holistic, but nothing new.

PRO: short and concise. Centralizes learnings into one book and covers the primary points.

CON: nothing new. Doesn't address the challenges associated.

Useful and Concise

I really enjoyed this book. It's refreshing to listen to a short book where you don't get lost in a sea of semi-related content. Of course, it is not ground breaking material - but it is a great reminder of what to focus on, neatly packed in a digestible format.

I had read negative reviews about the audio not being edited and I would say this: it's a small mishap that lasts 10 seconds and does not affect the overall experience. On the contrary, it makes it sound like you are sat across the narrator, and that he is human. So I wouldn't let that influence your decision of giving the book a shot.

Go ahead and take action to break your limiting beliefs - it's worth the work!

Unprofessional

Unprofessional recording which I could have overlooked if it had valuable information. Sad stories about himself and how he over came it from such rough beginnings. nothing new of value to recommend to anyone.

Rhetoric

Would you try another book from Christian Chasmer and/or Keegan Brumm?

No

Has Lose the Limits turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

Would you be willing to try another one of Keegan Brumm’s performances?

Absolutely not!!

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Lose the Limits?

The parts where Brumm repeatedly coughs and clears his throat and the parts with background noise.

Any additional comments?

This was not very good. The content lacked sincerity and the performance was lackluster and disappointing.

I Wish I Could Get My Money Back

Rehashed material. It is just quotes from other books. Worst narration I have ever heard.
