Faith and dating are not always the easiest things to mix together. Lord of the Ringless: Women Devoted to God and Desiring Marriage is a guide for single woman of faith who wants to keep their faith as they hunt for their other half. Applying the lessons of scripture to dating and coping with being a single woman in the modern world, author Dee Aspin draws on her own experience and hopes to help other women see the light at the end of the tunnel. Lord of the Ringless is well worth the investment, and is highly recommended to Christian singles.
Dee Aspin has a way of portraying important truths through stories that touch the heart. This is not a "dating" book, btw. It's a book that really anyone can benefit from--about getting closer to God. I have to admit, I cried through a few parts of it... and I laughed through others. Very well done by author and narrator.
What made the experience of listening to Lord of the Ringless the most enjoyable?
The content and the exceptional narrator's performance.
What did you like best about this story?
It was very uplifting and enjoyable. Can be applied to every day life.
Have you listened to any of Julie Williams’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, this was one of the best. Julie is my favorite female narrator and my favorite male is Guidall. I believe I'd listen to just about anything these two vocal talents voice.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Pretty much every one of these devotionals has something in it that moves me.
I find it very uplifting to listen to while driving to release stress and keep me focussed on God instead of problems.
Any additional comments?
I do wish the author had an editor who is a grammar expert.
