Publisher's Summary

In this compelling book, best-selling author and minister Max Lucado brings good news that will both comfort and challenge you. Drawing examples of Jesus’ life straight from the Bible, he takes a fresh look at Christianity to help you gain a richer, more accessible relationship with God. The author reveals that God loves you just the way you are—even if you always have a sour outlook or are consumed with worry. But you don’t have to stay that way. God wants to give you a heart full of compassion, forgiveness, honesty, and faith—just like Jesus. But how does change occur, and why does it seem so slow? The author’s clear prose answers the questions you have been asking about God’s wonderful transforming power.
