Publisher's summary

From the introduction, by Jesus, "What I have come to teach now is that you can embody love, as I did. You can become Christ within this human life and learn to embody all that is good within you. I came to show you the beauty of your own soul and what is possible as a human. I came to show you that it is possible to be both human and divine, to be love incarnate. You are equally both. You walk with one foot in the world of form and another in the formless. This mysterious duality within your being is what this book is about."

"The consciousness that is within me is also within you. You are the son as equally as I am. You are the 'I am' I spoke about. You and I are one. You and everyone else are one. Many are ready for the Christ within to come forward and manifest in the world more fully. The birthing of this Christ - of Christ Consciousness - is the true second coming. 'Christ Consciousness,' as I am using it, points to the divinity within everyone and the potential for that divinity to become a living reality, to become what lives you. I was an example of that possibility in my lifetime 2,000 years ago."

This book was given to Gina Lake by Jesus. It is part of a series of books, including A Heroic Life and The Jesus Trilogy.

Loved this book

You know how you hear the same thing many times but all of a sudden it makes sense? Well this book did that for me. The narrator is also good. I highly recommend this book.

To be honest, I was taken by surprise.

The first few lines almost turned me away, when it was stated that the author was a scribe for Jesus, I almost deleted the book. I have heard so many people say that and every other individual that claimed to have been channeling through, or inspired by Jesus have been completely false and have spoken lies. Especially given the fact that there was no one by that name that existed during that time (the letter J was unknown at the time and the actual name of The Christ was Yeshua). However, I felt compelled to continue listening. That is when I was completely blown away by the words! The last hurdle in awakening is ego. That means nothing until you learn what ego truly is. This book goes into wonderfully in depth explanations of ego, dichotomous thinking, and duality.
What is even more interesting is the fact that every time I pause the audiobook and listen to it the next day, it always seems to address exactly what I was experiencing that day.
This audiobook is truly divinely inspired.

Illuminating

The information given here on how to identify and heal from the false self is very helpful.
I have listened to this several times and each time received new insights. It is well worth a listen.

Love gina lake's books

This is a book that you have to digest. This is the first gina lake's audio books I have listened to having a bit of trouble digesting all the ideas.

Excellent book! Better than scripture.

I've been reading up on as many of the channelings of Jesus/Yeshua as I have been able to find, and although A Course In Miracles is an excellent set, it can be harder to absorb. In the World but Not of It I found to be easier to soak in. Also, the narration was easy to listen to. I highly recommend it.

A great teaching from a great teacher

I enjoyed all of it, many of the things I was aware of, however, hearing it in this perspective brought it all home for me.

I understand a lot more about what's been going on in my life and how to move forward from this point forward. At the end life does not have to be complicated, we just make it complicatedn in our innocence or ignorance. I recommend this teaching to anyone on the path of personal growth.
