A Good Book for Husbands Wanting to be Better

I was looking for a book that would help me become a better husband. I wouldn't say I was doing poorly, but was definitely falling into a rut. I saw the positive reviews for this book and gave it a shot.

First off, this is a not a quick list of actions to patch things up so you can go back to being your old self. The author emphasizes that you have to keep working at it always. He provides many habits that would be well worth following by any spouse.

The author provides many real life examples to illustrate what to do and not do and how your actions affect your relationship. He provided lots of actionable advice and good questions which I was able to discuss with my wife.

Ultimately, my take away from this book is that I must take responsibility for happiness in my marriage. And I think this idea really rings true now days when everyone seems to come at relationships with a "what's in it for me?" attitude. I really enjoyed this book and think many husbands and wives would benefit from listening to it.

Practical advice

This book is amazing, I especially like that the author put his personal life in the lines, he truly shows that these things did not come by chance, but by failures, errors, and practical lessons he learned over many years. I will do my best as a husband to apply these principles in my marriage, and I will watch our marriage bloom. I encourage you from a man to a man to take the time, listen and apply the lessons in this boom

Very.... Straight forward.

Narrator top tear.

The ideals in this book was biblical. Granted I am apart of a different variation of Christianity with slightly different viewpoints regarding Bible truths.

The facts provided by the author was pristine in identifying the areas of change. This book is on my repeat list.

Fantastic material.
