Publisher's Summary

Fed up with the hectic pace of modern day living? Well then, curl up with this book, a cozy blanket, some hot chocolate, and learn how to embrace the Danish concept of cozy and simple living.

Growing up in Denmark I never knew us Danes were different. Of course being different is not always a bad thing! In my early 20s I moved to New York to study interior design. It was during my time in New York that I realized the importance of hygge. Everyone seemed so busy, so stern looking, and so stressed! After spending two long years in New York I decided I had to spread the word about hygge and so I wrote my book Hygge: A Danish Concept of Simple & Cosy Living.

Us Danes have been voted the happiest in the world for the past 40 years in numerous studies. In this book I give away the secret to our happiness and explain how you too can embrace the concept of hygge to live a calmer more enjoyable lifestyle.

The great thing about hygge is everyone can embrace the hygge mindset of cozy and simple living.

Hygge will allow you to create closer bonds with your loved ones, enjoy the simple miracles in life which occur each day and enjoy the winter instead of dreading it!

Do not purchase the audio version

This is a very novice introduction to Hygge, beginners only. I do not recommend the audio version, as the narrator is awful and it was painful to get through this book. I was tempted to return for a refund because of the narration.

Refreshing and supportive. Normal is the new Black

I always loved living this way. Nice to hear others feel the same and there is actually a name for it. Hygge.

Computerized voice

If you're looking for a good introductory book on hygge, this is not it. I'll try another hygge book and leave a review....I cannot believe this is a human voice, it is so flat.

Reader not into it

I am/was really into to concept of Hygge before I signed up to this Audiobook.
The reader is DEFINETLY NOT INTO IT! speed of reading (alone), not to mention the lack of meaningful intonation of said reading, has made me see how stupid this concept is!.

Do charity do you can see how well YOU are doing!?
Don't go through your day begrudging your pointless tasks, be 'happy' you are there to do them EVEN if no one thanks you for them.....

Thanks but no thanks.
I'm happy with a critical, hard working and rewarded life! (at a slower speed)!
Bye!
