Build better relationships

Would you listen to Highly Sensitive again? Why?

Yes, there's a lot of valuable information I learned from this and I actually feel like I've become a better person because of it. My favorite part was when it talked about life scenarios and how to handle them, especially the difficult ones. Coming from a tough and struggling family, I always seemed to be frustrated at the world and at new people I'd meet. Now I have a better relationship with my own emotions and with the ones who still care for me.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Highly Sensitive?

It talks about relationships with your significant others other than yourself. I found this to be also a really good guide in just improving your friendship and loving people overall.

Any additional comments?

This is a book everyone should get. To become a better and loving person, you need to understand that not the whole world gravitates around your problems. Rather, your problem stems from within and you should open it to accept help and guidance from those who care about you. This took me a while to understand, but once you do, you will never forget it.

good to listen

I came upon this book in a book store and then decided to buy it on kindle later. I can honestly say it has provided insight that has changed my relationship with myself and therefore has improved my life. I highly recommend it for those who are sensitive but also those connected to them. Anyone interested in getting along with others in a meaningful way would want to know how 20% of the population functions as highly sensitive people.

Informative and useful for sensitive persons

Any additional comments?

This book is an entertaining, helpful, and touching read about being a highly sensitive person. It is refreshing to see humor and even some attitude about this topic! It covers a lot of ground, from learning to better accept yourself, great things about being highly sensitive as well as challenging aspects, with most of it told through personal stories. I would definitely recommend this to anyone learning about how to deal with being an HSP and feel better about accepting yourself.

excellent guide

This book has changed my life! It has given me such an incredible inner peace. It has given me such an understanding of all of the things that have happened in my life that I though we're so difficult and pegged as bad experiences. I realize that I have just been managing my life in the wrong way, and with acceptance and understanding, I can organize my life in a much more comfortable way that works for me. I would highly recommend this book to any highly sensitive person and those who have highly sensitive people in their lives. Thank you for this amazing book!
