This book sure gives me a good inner perspective of how meditation should be done. Depending on the type of meditation you're inclined to practice, you are given the choice of trying out candle meditation, mindfulness meditation or even a body scan meditation.
This was a fairly good book for anyone who's considering adding meditation to their daily routine. It started with the benefits of meditation, discussed the various methods of meditating, and ended with practical ways of fitting meditation in your schedule.
Very good for beginners. I learned a lot about meditating for anxiety and different ways of doing it. A lot of my questions were answered regarding it.
This is a very easy and clear book with a lot of good points and suggestions. I really enjoyed it and learned quite a bit. I did, however, leave wanting and feeling like I needed more.
It is not based on any particular belief system other than the enormous effects that meditation can have. Glad I chose this book to help get me started.
A brief but absolutely great introduction into meditation. Introduces the different types of meditation and is encouraging for a beginner like myself.
This book is clear and direct to the point. You will not see flowery words just to make the book long. Also, the complementary chapter at the end really suits the topic and you will find yourself asking for more.
Meditation is a complex topic that I find the simplicity of the book relaxing and calming. I also love the approach of this book to the topic. It finds time to give you information that are essential about it before going to what you should do
