What a deal on this 2 in 1..

It's amazing how rested and relaxed these guided meditations make my body and mind feel.
Working 3rd shift makes it hard for me to wind down and rest well during the day.
These books lull me into my wonderful sleepy😪 place.
The narration always adds to this peaceful experience.
I requested this book in exchange for my honest review which I'm always happy to give because they're definitely worth the money 💰.

Very relaxing

Good performance, the narrator is very soothing and calming. Love that it is two in one. Could go a little deeper but overall pretty good.

I wasn't clear on what exactly this was when I got it. Per the title, this is 2 books but only require 1 purchase/1 credit. I actually received both of them previously so I'm copy/pasting my earlier reviews.<br/><br/>Tl;dr: I do not like book 1. I do like book 2.<br/><br/>BOOK 1<br/><br/>Overall=1, Performance=5, Story=1<br/><br/>Calming, but without substance<br/><br/>'Guided Meditation: 30 Minute Positive Affirmations Hypnosis to Attract Wealth & Real Abundance' is good for meditation and relaxation. The running theme of 'relaxation, thankfulness, and desire leading to wealth' strikes me as vacuous at best and a lie at worst. I've listened to a few other relaxation/meditation audiobooks from Mindfulness Training and I'd recommend any of those over this one.<br/><br/>The narrator has a soothing voice which is appropriate for this type of recording. Shame about the subject matter.<br/><br/>Note: 30 Minute Positive Affirmations is actually 19 minutes.<br/><br/>BOOK 2<br/><br/>Overall=5, Performance=5, Story=5<br/><br/>Surprisingly good.<br/><br/>I went into Guided Meditation like any other audiobook which was a mistake. The point of this audiobook isn't to listen, to learn, or to be entertained -- the point is to be guided.<br/><br/>My first impression was genuine surprise at how much of the incredibly short 30 minutes used no words and how slow the narration is. Surely this doesn't leave much room for content. And indeed it doesn't. Again: content isn't the goal. The calm, relaxing, reassuring non-judgmental narrator isn't trying to impart knowledge. Instead she brings you with her to a better, more tranquil place.<br/><br/>This book could be a very good thing for me to revisit every now and again.<br/><br/>This book/set of books was/were given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Relaxing

Definitely helped with calming the mind and sleeping. My mind easily calmed and was just lulled to sleep.

Thinking Positive is Worth the Credit

The manifesting abundance (first one) was kind of moronic. I didn't take anything away from it. Not even the diamond on the table. <br/>Positive thinking was deeper and more insightful. Overall, the narrator does have a very soothing and hypnotic voice. Very calming and relaxing. <br/>I've listened to other books and the beginning instructions seem to be consistent, if not verbatim repeated. <br/>As a two for one, the second part is worth it! <br/>I would recommend this to anyone who needs help to wind down and relax. <br/><br/>"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."

Very relaxing

The first rack on this recording s a meditation track I already have. I did listen to it again, after all these are designed to be used over and over again and I found it just as useful and enjoyable to listen to as the first time. The narrator has a lovely voice and the delivery is clam and smooth.

The second track is a new one for me, it's a self-hypnosis track designed to be listen to as you fall asleep from that perspective it was very effective I only remember about the first 5 minutes. What I remember I liked and I'm very tempted to make this part of my nightly routine, it was a really nice way to fall asleep.

Totally Relaxing...

What did you love best about Guided Meditation?

I loved the background music and narrator's soft, calming voice. Both were very relaxing.

There was no "story" per se...Just a guided meditation into relaxation/hypnosis

Which character – as performed by Mindfulness Training – was your favorite?

The only character was my "inner self" ;)

Basically the music and guided relaxation is what I liked.

Excellent Meditation

This meditation I've done a few times and I love it. The last time, I was so relaxed I fell asleep and woke up feeling very good and rested. It's amazing what these can do for you. I think they do have great health qualities. Love these and highly recommended.

The voice guide is wonderful with a soothing voice. She speaks clearly with a perfect tone. She's great to listen to.
