Publisher's Summary

Welcome to book number two in the Making Sense of the Law of Attraction series by law of attraction coach Kelli Cooper. Each book is designed to go into greater detail about a particular aspect of the attraction process, which seems easy on paper, but as for applying in real life? Many people find it...not so much.

Detachment and allowing are crucial for receiving what we want with greater ease but can be a real b*tch to apply in practice. We just want what we want oh, so badly. We are so used to trying to control everything, developing that trust is a process. Your mind will freak out in various ways. This book will help you understand the importance of detachment and allowing and how to go about doing that in your everyday life, so you can start being bombarded with awesomeness at every turn!

Why so many four-letter words?

As a writer myself, I'm never certain what a writer thinks they're gaining injecting the word "sh*t" into every other phrase. Especially in a book that's supposed to be about positive thinking. I guess it's an attempt to sound down-to-earth and straight shootin'. Likewise, "panties in a bunch" is a phrase that doesn't appeal to me very much, along with "steaming pile of b.s." Just as irritating is the narrator's frequent defensive posture that the reader is arguing with her: "Oo oo oh, you're really going to resist this one." I am? If I wasn't open to this message, why on earth would I have spent money on a book on this subject? Still, there are some good points here, and it's cheap, if you can get through the strangely combative vibe of the text.

Very good!

I loved it but if you are sensitive to swearing this isn't for you. The information is good, the performance was nice, and it was short.

I enjoyed this book so much, I listened over and over again. I appreciate the candidness and how simply put it is. I definitely recommend this read and I will also look for more books by this author.

Good Insight

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this book. I have recommended it to friends. The book offers quite a bit of insight on the topic of getting out of the way and letting the universe do its job--not micro-managing the universe in an attempt to manifest what we want.

What about Catherine Doersch’s performance did you like?

I liked Catherine's voice which is kind of soft and rounded as opposed to having a sharper edge.

What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?

Set your intentions and let the universe do its thing...don't concern yourself with HOW it will do its thing.

Makes so much sense

Great book, makes so much sense of the law of attraction and the law of detachment. You just have to trust!
